Comments Thread For: Mayweather-Ortiz 24/7 P. 3 - Fight Week Approaches

The overall sentiment around the boxing community was that episode 2 of Mayweather-Ortiz 24/7 didn’t live up to expectations. It was a sentiment also expressed by Floyd Mayweather himself as he not only expressed his displeasure with the episode, but also went as far as to suggest HBO needed a new editor for the show. Whether HBO heard Floyd or not, the episode was more improved than what we had seen the previous week.

I thought it was pretty good. Not as good as episode 1 but better than 2.

Floyd: And Manny Pacquiao, YES YOU'RE NEXT
Then, days ago...."I never said that, i never said that at all"

hahahaha... the biggest joke in boxing history !!

Can you imagine if Manny Pacquiao contradicts himself that way? *****s will be jumping around all year with this one! hahaha

What truly happened was that Floyd was so excited with the media that day, that he forgot about being careful talking about Pacquiao.

I guess that when he was at home and saw himself saying that on tv.... he said, "I my god, what have i done?"

I'm wondering what kind of bs will WESS and Leaduppercut bring to defend Floyd!

                it was a good episode...

glad to see vic have a day off, he doesnt need to overtrain which im concerned he may do.

floyd was like a 6 year old girl jealous her sister was getting attention then

he went ahead and racially stereotyped black people as being deadbeats, drug dealers who neglect and leave their kids....

this saddens me, my best friend is black and his parents are wonderful. dude is my brother, no not my bra, but family to me. my mom adores him.

he was unhappy with being stereotyped by floyd as a black man who would be a drug dealer, go to prison, leave or neglect his kids. he also complained of the remark about women up and leaving to...

hope floyd has been lifting some weights, he is gonna be worn down from ortiz in his chest pushing him around all night

                  wow, obsessed much?

                  biased a bit?

dude shows you complete video evidence and you still WILL NOT accept the

fact that floyd changed his story.. people lie for two reasons, one if they are

wrong, and 2 if they are scared to be in trouble...

be a man, have some self respect and mention floyd lied, got caught and

this is no damn promotion... lying saying he isnt fighting pacman is a promotion?

thats how you promote a fight by saying its not happening????

Come on fam. If you or the guy who posted and commented on this video would live by what you said then EVERY Manny Pacquiao fan would be silenced on here because throughout the whole Floyd/Pac debacle, I myself, alone have posted numerous articles, video evidence that clearly showed Arum, Roach and Pac lying their asses off and back peddling ESPECIALLY about giving blood. Pac fans NEVER tried to acknowledge it AT ALL and it was right there in everyone faces. It's funny because through all the lies, deceit and back sliding Arum, Roach and Pac did about the fight. Pac fans STILL think Floyd is the reason it didn't happen EVEN AFTER Manny Pacquiao was the one who left the table during the first negotiations which was the ONLY official one to date. Pac fans still think Floyd didn't want the fight EVEN after there is documented proof that Manny turned down the fight to get it on with Clottey who just lost to Cotto, a guy Pac just beat AND BOTH are Top Rank fighters.

Sure Floyd said "Manny your next" I read it and heard it BUT Mayweather has also been saying for 2 years "Pac take the tests". Post some videos of that. How about posting some videos of Pac making up excuses and procrastinating everytime the subject is brought up. Listen, Floyd ain't no angel, talks alot of smack and runs off with the lip but if you really want Floyd fans to keep it real then Pac fans have to keep it real and acknowledge all videos plus articles. And if WE all go back from the beginning of this whole fiasco it would clearly show that Manny Pacquiao did not want this fight or better yet Bob Arum. Below are reasons I truly, unbiasly and wholeheartedly feel like these are the reasons that the fight didn't happen....

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

                    December 16th 2008

"We'll have a change in sparring partners and style because Mayweather is so different than our last four opponents [Cotto, Ricky Hatton, De La Hoya and David Diaz]. We have to study him really hard. But I know Mayweather really well. I just need Manny to see what I see." Freddie Roach.

"It's not so much that I give a damn whether this fight happens--I don't -- and for me it's not the greatest experience doing a promotion with Floyd Mayweather," Arum said. "But not to do this fight would slow down the momentum of boxing."

For Pac fans to believe Bob Arum wanted this fight for Manny Pacquiao after all of this evidence straight from the promoter and trainers mouth shows how bias they really are.
