And your cosigning that as Bob wanting the fight with Floyd? He said he wants Mayweather to be at his rustiest for a fight with Pac. The second one has Freddie Roach saying that he has to change up Pac style that has gotten him so far, study real hard and let Pac see what he sees inorder to have a chance against Mayweather. The 3rd post has Arum saying. I really don't give a damn whether this fight happens or not. Let me ask you a question Mr comprehension. All of these quotes were taken before the first Floyd/Pac negotiations started. Did the fight happen? NO, so clearly they didn't want the fight. Instead this is what happened......




None of them quotes I posted had Arum or Roach acting confident or sure that they wanted the fight and it didn't happen. Sorry homie but you can't switch my post up to make it look like they did because 2 years later it is still an ongoing feud.

You ignored the the part where Arum said he would like Pac to get through the Hatton fight BEFORE GOING UP AGAINST MAYWEATHER, saying, "I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) UNTIL SEPTEMBER".

Likewise, you seem to not have gotten the meaning of what Roach was saying.

If Roach did not want to have Pac fight Floyd, why would he be planning to change sparring partners and style? Doesn't that clearly show that he was going to prepare Pac for a Floyd fight? What do you think he meant by saying he knows Floyd well and he just wants Manny to see what he sees?

Lastly, you highlighted only the part of Arum's statement where he expressed his disgust in dealing with Floyd but disregarded the most important element of what he said. Quote, "BUT NOT TO DO THIS FIGHT WOULD SLOW DOWN THE MOMENTUM OF BOXING."

Clearly, you either did not understand the full meaning of what you posted, or you are "seeing only what you want to see".

With regards to your addendum, you don't think that after NINE HOURS of mediation without any resolution is not enough to declare the fight dead? Should they have stayed another nine hours? Or nine days? Or nine months? Remember, Pac had to have a fight and train for it before the election in the Philippines that year.

Listen, you have good points and appreciate your maturity when you reply and I see where you are coming from but my thing is Arum emphasized on Floyd "being rusty" as stating that he would prefer that Floyd could not be himself at top form for a Pac fight. Roach has said at times that Floyd is the easiest opponent, says that Pac would not be ready in time to fight Floyd after the Cotto fight and then this. Arum said he doesn't care about making the fight or dealing with Floyd but he is willing to do it for the boxing fans but when was the last time Arum did anything for the sport of boxing other than himself? There are two ways to see what they said but the obvious to me is that the fight wasn't a priority for them because if Pac was willing to agree to 24 then why not 14? Floyd could have agreed to 24 but 14 is where he felt more comfortable just like Roach felt more comfortable if Floyd payed 10MIL for every pound he came in over 147. In negotiations it is a a give and take. Thanks for the props regarding my lady. Appreciate the compliment.

A bunch of people I know (including myself) hate some of May's antics. I found his boasting to soldiers to be very innapropiate how ever we can view it in two ways. Could that had been foretold before the conference call began? Meaning is it poss that the soldiers were told before hand that May would go on a rant just for the cameras? Or was he really that much of an ass showing off to the poor american soldiers fighting overseas? Now I am one to believe that most of May's image is "fake". What I mean by that is that he has created an image in order to sell deep down I believe he is a good person. I don't know if anyone agrees with me but at times May has shown compasion and a kind heart, I really hope the whole tour of the home and the boasting was a set up for the show.

I'm sure FLoyd and HBO did this as part of what all celebreties/US companies do for the troops over there. Besides, we only saw like 2-3 minutes of it. There was much more. I'm sure if you spend all day in Afghanistan not knowing if you are going to die any second its probably good comic relief.
