For once, I believe Bob Arum. If Arum were promoting Ortiz, he would not put him in the ring against Mayweather. I believe him because he did the same thing with Cotto. He refused to put Cotto in the ring against Mayweather at 140 because he knew that Cotto would get beat easily.

As far his his comment about not chasing Mayweather for a Pac fight, that is a lie. He has been chasing Mayweather and using the chance of Pac facing Mayweather to promote Pacquaio's fights for the last two years.

Good point. That is why he will be fighting Pacquaio in May 2012.

I hope the second one happens.
I had a dream that I won the lottery. My dream has a much better chance of coming true than yours.

after going of vaca for these years and letting his fans and the boxing public

down while claiming to be the best ever without fighting the best around him

then why would he deserve such a payday?

the only reason he is back and fighting is because he needs the money...

too much money on lawyers and bail, he is just fighting for money and he knows it..

otiz vs pac would be a great clash, southpaws with speed and power, neither back down...

they are the good guys in the sport which is what is needed for boxing to be back to mainstream

in fact, win lose or draw i hope ortiz fights pac next

          ****kckc floyd
Dude, did you know that Floyd is making three times as much money to fight Ortiz as Pac is making against Marquez. Did you know that Floyd's guarantee against Mosley was four times what Pac's guarantee was against Mosley and Clottey. Floyd will make two to three times as much money as Pac no matter who he fights. Pac is the one who needs the payday against Floyd, not the other way around.

I would rather remain silent and let others doubt you are a fool than open my mouth and remove all doubts.

I'm sure that if he loses, then he'll definitely be getting the call from Arum!
