Ill be honest, i only follow 126 and 118

Its because there are so many damn weight classes at that level. When only 2 or 3 lbs seperates weight classes, it seems so pointless.

If the just merged them into Minimumweight, Flyweight, Bantamweight and Featherweight, it would be incredibly easier to follow.

also, the talent pool at Minimumweight is the lowest in boxing. There are comparatively so few fighters there, as opposed to Lightweight-Welterweight.

I love the lower weight classes, but I understand if it's hard for some to follow them. Many of the cards take place in Japan, Thailand, Mexico, etc. and they may not be easy for some to get a hold of. Plus, some just aren't interested them.

I'm the opposite of most really. I follow the smallest of divisions, but don't pay much attention to CW and HW.

it's hard to get into strawweight, those guys are NEVER on television. Segura's real good though, I follow almost religiously from heavyweight to bantam (and formerly super fly when Darchinyan was making his tear), and I try to pay attention to who has the belts at least, but I probably wouldn't be able to name ten current fighters off the top of my head from any division below bantam primarily because the amount of exposure is so low.

118 is as low as I watch and that's only because of donaire. Seriously 105 lbs?

I believe the only way the lower weight classes will get the attention it deserves is having a fighter with a unique personality to go along with the skills and talent. The more entertaining (controversial, exciting) the personality to go along with the small stature and talent, the more attention he'll receive.

He probably doesn't have to win every fight, but he needs to be able to back up the talk with the skills and excitement. Exposure in mega fight undercards will only help much more.

The lighter fighters aren't promoted as big as the higher weight ones. The fighters fight and go home. No fan fare, no outstanding personalities.

Boxing is entertainment, and if the fighters can fight AND have the magnetic personally to awe the fans, the lower classes will attract much more eyeballs.

                    Just my opinion.

All good to me, weights have different things to offer, i draw the line at straw and minimum though. Then again i wouldn't not watch them if there were more of them on bigger cards. Tyson Marquez v Concepcion has easily been the best fight of the year.
