When fighters claim to be Poisoned, could they be telling the truth?

    Wlad/Brewster

    Tarver/Hopkins

    Foreman/Ali

Do you feel any of them were really poisoned? And I'm not descrediting Brewsrer, Hopkins, or Ali because if something shady did go down I doubt any of them knew about it(hopefully). Boxing is a shady sport...

I kind of think its possible for shady stuff like a boxer being poisoned to happen. I however think someone blaming a loss on steroids is crap because steroids don't magically turn someone into a good technical fighter.

No, its a lame excuse similar to those who makes steroids accusations without enough proof(guerrero)

Who knows, nothing would surprise me in this sport with all of the craziness that goes on.

Do any of those fighters have any kind of proof like did Wlad, Tarver, or Foreman get tested after the fight to see if anything was in their system that could make them weaker?

its a pretty lame excuse unless you got some kind of evidence

It's one of the lamest excuses in boxing.

All you have to do is look at who's saying and who there opponent is.

Tarver for example. Bernard Hopkins is poison. It's no coincidence that almost everyone he fights has their career worst performance. Tarver, Trinidad, Pavlik, Johnson, Calzaghe...they all after the fight say they had their worst night. I wonder why.

Wlad was just chinny and not as good back then. Was he poisoned by Ross Purity and Corrie Sanders as well?
