I saw somebody mentioned that Byrd is less mobile lately and I agree with that observation, however James Toney seems to be continuosly buldging and gaining weight so that should put them on equal footings

Byrd better shape up and take care of Toney or otherwise he might screw up a unification against Klitschko if it ever comes into play.

Byrd mentions in an interview he's prefer to fight Toney next, and there is even a rumored date for this fight at the end of January.

Should it happen, who do you like in the fight?

....I see Toney winning fairly easily in a tactical and boring fight.

on a sidenote: i wish they had subtitles for when toney speaks because i can barely understand the guy.

.....On Toney's speach, does anyone else think it's gotten slightly worse? I was thinking to myself that it may be bordering on slurring his words together now. He almost sounds like a stroke victim.

I think he crossed the slurring border a while back, unfortunately. Not that I want to see him stop fighting, but you don't like to see that happen.

btw I take Toney cause if a lumbering Jameel can catch Byrd I think Toney will do enough damage to take it on points.

I do not believe that James wants any part of Byrd. He may help promote, talk **** and then except the fight but there are many other guys that James would prefer besides Byrd.

James whole game as a heavyweight is letting them come to him, slip counter and hold. James will use his legs a little bit but it is obvious that his legs are not a big part of his game.

Byrd will not come to James. Yes this would equate to a slow and rather boring match but it is the game that will win Byrd the fight. James has never handled a man well who had better speed than him. Byrd had this speed, not to mention the style, that will give James fits. Byrd will win this fight.

If Byrd escape's fighting Wlad and hooks up with fighting Toney, then Byrd gets an award from me.

If Byrd wins I will kill myself, he is cancer to the HW division.

He's always had a slight stutter so I don't think it's as bad as it may seem, meaning I don't think there is a lot of damage due to fight punishment.

Byrd will get Toney out of his element and out box him to a boring UD.

EDIT: How can anyone think he will get KOed? He has been KOed once in his life.
