Yeah it was a pitty he took the fight with days notice he gassed badly against Wolak.
He will be always in action packed fights that's what i like about him, let's hope he can work on his stamina and defense because his chin is not that good... but at least he has a very good punch.

lmfao... One question... Who the **** has canelo fought? Name one guy that hes fought thats better than vanes' recent competition... You guys are so ****** that you jump on the hypewaggon and support a fighter who is nothing but hypejob and has done nothing to prove himself... But with idiots as fans he doesnt have to be, i dont blame him... The guy fights lightweights and you guys act like hes got, and now you guys are calling out for more ww's for him to fight lol... Surprised team canelo isnt calling out bobby pacquiao...

Maybe Roach will talk enough trash to get Canelo and his pu$$y team to put him in with Vanes.

Vanes got knocked down by sorry ass Roman bro and should have lost to Ouma and never gave him a rematch. I don't nuthug Canelo I think he has a lot of potential but I have never claimed he was great.

Oh believe me, if Canelo loses to Vanes I will be the first to call hypejob.

You know what? I'm going to make a ridiculous claim like these two Martirosyan's nuthuggers. Jose "Barretas" Pinzon knocks Vanes out.

AGAIN YOU DONT ANSWER MY QUESTION... Ouma did knock down Vanes, but Ouma was a 154 world champ...but it was a flash knockdown, thats way different then being rocked by a lightweight whos best known for being brother to Cotto... if Vanes is a hypejob and sucks sooo bad then surely team Canelo must know that and would figure it would boost up Canelo's name and shut its critics mouths... surely canelo will get WAAAYYYY MORE credit for beating Vanes than for fighting Gomez regardless of how much you idiots want to contend that VAnes is nothing, if nothing else hes a viable 154 pounder respected enough by the WBC to give him the #1 ranking, the same WBC that thinks so highly of Canelo to give him a belt

Johannes - how is it "rediculous" to say that Vanes has fought the better comp than Alvarez and stands a chance to beat him? I'll tell you what rediculous is. It would be someone claiming that Holyfield could beat Vitali.

I liked this fight for Canelo last year.

                      He's beyond Gomez now.

If not Vanes, perhaps Wolak or K9.
