How can anyone who calls themselves a boxing fan think Margo OR Cotto beat Floyd? Are you dense? even in their primes Floyd would win an EASY points fight against both, heck even in the same night.

I never got the hype of Margo, he is possibly one of the worst BOXERS (not fighters) in history and Floyd would **** him tbh.

If you think otherwise, your either ******ed or blind or a hater of some sort.

1000+ punches? give me a break..... he would throw about 5-600 against Floyd and get countered on all of them.

Marg even in his prime was a bar room fighter, you know this!

Marg would never throw 1000+ punches if he did he would be getting countered all night! at best 500, with a terrible accuracy rate! the more he opens up he would expose his body. watch Floyd vs Coralas fight, pretty much the same blueprint to chop down Marg.

I see now reason to doubt, considering both of their styles that Margarito would give Floyd big problems and take him to the pool where the big boys swim. Floyd may win, but I would hedge my bets.

Floyd never wanted Margarito. I mean look man, we all know how good Floyd is. He's an excellent defensive fighter and very quick and smart. The thing about this fight is that Floyd doesn't punch hard enough to even attempt to ward Margarito off let alone Margarito being the one pressuring Floyd all night (again, this is 2006-2007 Margarito). Margarito is slow, but he punches in bunches and doesn't stop. Floyd's shown he doesn't like fighting under pressure and Margarito would be the biggest pressure fighter he'd seen. I'm not saying Floyd gets his ass handed to him, but Margarito was simply a big risk for Floyd and truthfully, he did make more money elsewhere while selecting the right opposition. I've always said Floyd is one hell of a businessman and knows the Boxing biz, otherwise we might have seen fights with Margarito or Cotto (who in comparison to Judah, Baldomir, Hatton, and Oscar were much more dangerous fights IMO).

Yeah Cotto would do 100000% better against Floyd that Margo, simply because Cotto can actually BOX. Margo just throws a shyte jab and then swings for the fence. Cotto has a GREAT jab IMO and has a good amount of Boxing skill so would put up a good fight. Plus Cotto can move his head abit when needed, Margo CANT. Cotto still loses though IMO just not as badly.
