It's not like he's ducked anyone. He's been waitn so he can fight the Super 6 winner, whcih he will; and in the interim, now he's tryin to make the toughest fight possible - Kessler - instead of just waitn on the winner of Ward-Froch.
From what I hear, he will probably fight Pavlik. After that fight, we'l know for sure how much Pavlik has left
I agree. Can't hate on him because he's at least trying to make the tough fights happen.

The Super 6 winner will almost certainly be fighting Kessler first since he is the champion emeritus for the WBC belt. In all likelihood, if he's serious, he'll have to wait for the Super 6 winner to fight Kessler and take on the winner.

In the mean time, Pavlik isn't a bad match-up.

This fight is dead and you know it. Since when does Sauerland make respectable offers to world class fighters to travel to Europe?

I'm not sure there is 1 single example in his entire career as a promoter.

The way they do business is simple. They take their best fighters, build them up in fights they can't lose, and then get them a title match for either a vacant belt, or they target the weakest champion at the weight. Once they have a title, they never face anyone who borders on a threat.

It's not just Sauerland, it's the German way. All of the promoters do the same there.

Sauerland, in this instance, is surely going to choose the easier path after the embarrassment their fighters suffered in the Super 6 while traveling outside of their borders.

butes team can go suck a fck! kessler knows that lucy wont leave canada - he a bigger stay at home than josie calzaghe and if they fight in canada lucy gets a homebrew decision just like pascal did in the first fight v hopkins. that fight has got 12 rounds written all over it
if kessler gets a belt he has got leverage to get lucy out of american-frog land. but he dont care anyway because he has got the super 6 winner as a fall back.

bute is about as handy as julio cesar chavez. he likes body shots too. a half decent boxer with speed and power will knock him the fk out if his hands keep going down there!

Uuuhhmm... Ok. That's why they made the supersix. It was Kalle Sauerlands brainchild. Doesn't really fit in well with your description.

The irony of Bute's promoter accusing another boxer of taking the safe path!

Really? He wanted none of Kessler before the s6. Didn't want Pascal when he called him out. Didn't want to unify with Dimitri Sartison.

If Stieglitz is such a safe path why hasn't Bute fought him these past few years, instead of taking on tomato can after tomato can?
