    The excuses are in.

Ortiz has now been deemed too green and inexperienced by the casual fans of this sites (Pacstans). Mayweather is expected to win easily by making Ortiz quit on his stool. All of this has been said by these casual fans who seem to have no recollection of Ortiz-Berto.

Berto a hypejob? Probably, but a hypejob that was able to drop Ortiz numerous times none the less.

Come on man Ortiz has been overrated by ******ed Floyd fans and underrated by retarted Pac fans.Fair play to Floyd hes bucking the alarming trend Manny and Floyd had set but come on i see people calling Ortiz great for what?Beating Berto only 3 damn months ago most knobs on here were still calling him a coward now hes god listen hes a very good young fighter but hes been over and underrated on both sides

Ortiz has already been outboxed before and beaten down. How is this even close to a mega-fight? It's an "ok" fight if anything but that's all.... Even Cotto at this point would have been more intriguing.

Victor Ortiz will stop Gayweather in round one. He has never faced an opponent like Victor Ortiz; young, hungry, fast, powerful, explosive, prime, southpaw, with good foot work, and a twelve round gas tank. Gayweather won't know what hit him and Victor Ortiz will become boxings new SUPERSTAR!

I think Mayweather by a UD but Ortiz will win a couple of rounds.

Bad fight for Ortiz's career development but a fight with Pacquiao would have been much much worse for him.

Ortiz will be a better fighter after the Mayweather fight.

no excuses. floyd is supposed to win this fight decisively. but what am i missing? i thought this is a tuneup leading to a pac fight fact that ortiz is a lefty.

what exactly do anyone expect from floyd. he wants none of clottey, margarito, cotto, pac. who is there for floyd? to this day i have yet to see a response from him about martinez. not one reporter has asked floyd about sergio who is willing to take his ****** test.

This is a legit fight but Floyd should have no problems with Ortiz.

why does every poster or fan who has something negative about floyd need to be labelled a "*******"? i dont think ortiz is green or inexperienced as a fighter but i think he should have had atleast one or two title defences at welterweight since he is new to that division...floyd should have decided to try pursue a title at 154 IB and then if he wins he can say that he is now a 5 weight world champion...the ortiz fight is good dont get me wrong im surprised floyd has come out like this i admit im a critic and he has regained my respect but i dont get why he wants to win again the same title in the same weight division that he has already won before? non the less legetimate fight for floyd to take on ortiz on september 17th...

mayweather made a business move, there was talks about manny fighting Ortiz in 2012, so he snatched him up. Ortiz is not green, he is a champ. and Maidana did not outbox him, he took him to place he never been before and as a young fighter he mentally broke, he has matured and it showed against Berto, especially in the 6th
