At the time, it looked like I wasn't the only one; I distinctly remember many users, and I mean many critics who said, '**** Mosley, fight Marquez or Berto.' With Marquez, it's fair to say we didn't want the fight at welterweight even if, and we kinda know, they'll be the same size on fight night. At 144, it just is what it is, I know it's not the ideal weight for Marquez, but dude, I've been wanting this fight for a long time, it's hard to b*tch about something you've asked for. So the negatives...the weight for Marquez, and the fact that Marquez has slowed down a little bit since their last meeting in 2008, but all fighters slow down...it's really the weight that bothers a lot of people and I understand why. But I've raved about Marquez on many occasions, and I have proof, lol, he took it to Manny like no one else has (w/the exception of Margarito who actually tried to take it to Manny, with little success). I'm not mad at this fight for the most part because I know Marquez will show up....I'm just hoping he shows up in early 2008 form....
I'm tired of people saying these guys are the same size, they aren't. Pac is a ww, jmm is not

I think (for what it's worth) it's going to be entertaining meaningless bout.
I love Marquez, but he is 4 years more removed from his best days, coming in this fight heavier and facing a different fighter that has been comfortably fighting at 144-150.

Discovered? That was his 41st fight homie. You missed my point. Most Floyd fans have been following him since he was an amateur/the Olympics.
I completely agree with your point here though, yes they will buy anything and want to see a knockout regardless if it's against me, you, my roommate, or Bob Arum himself.
