That's simply not the truth at all. I have been very critical of many American fighters like Kelly Pavlik, Juan Diaz, and Nate Campbell. I don't like every American fighter, just like I support fighters from different nations. My two favorite fighters have always been JMM and Miguel Cotto(I think I have made this known by talking about my trips over the states to Cotto fights and rocking a Marquez brothers sig for a few years). Two fighters that aren't even based in the United States.

They just don't like that one day you started favoring American fighters a lot more than you previously had. Nationalism is only a problem on BoxingScene when it's a strong, first-world country flying their colors proudly. The whole Manny Pacquiao following is based on nationality, the Mexican lineage in boxing is all based on pride of one's nationality.

Nothing wrong with being American, defending American fighters, or supporting American fighters. But sometimes I am made to feel that American fighters don't deserve to be rooted for. I don't understand why these people feel that way.

I'll say it right now EASTERN EUROPEAN FIGHTERS are a joke and protected by their promoters and fanbase. They won't fight top notch talent but have the myth that they are something special. I'll respect Eastern Europeans when they actually answer the bell and fight other world class fighters.

Germany is the home to cowardice. Juergen Braehmer, Robert Stieglitz, Marco Huck, Sebastian Sylvester, Sven Ottke, the home to the scourge of boxing. No interest in the sport or defending your honor, just straight up *****es with no intentions to fight anyone. Always exceptions to the rule. When will we see Lucian Bute, Felix Sturm, Dimitri Pirog, Lebedev(yes, huck is a bum), Golovkin, Stieglitz, Zavek the list goes on and on against proven fighters?? I felt the same way about Abraham and he sure came out looking like a daisy when he fought real fighters at 168.
