He can box or brawl and shows unparalleled determination despite not having the greatest physical assets.
Its not hate he is a great fighter and a legend but Pac will destroy him. Anyone who doesnt see the difference in Pac's punching power since the move up to ww is either not paying attention or has something against Manny. Look at how innefctive Marquez looked when he went up tp fight Floyd and also look how Juan Diaz and Katsidis were able to rock him.

I still see this as a competitive fight, Marquez knows what he has to do, I also reckon that a 144 catch weight is within reason. Imo this fight is legit!

The reason Floyd gets ***** is because he agreed to a certain weight and broke contract by coming in heavier. Truth is, we don't even know how heavy Floyd was at fight time, but the size difference was quite evident. .
            Exactly!!!!!

To quote the story on the main page...I "drank the promotional Kool-aid" on the Mosley fight cause I wanted to believe that he was a worthy opponent when I knew better. This time around, after Marquez's lackluster or shall I say embarrasing showing vs. Mayweather, I won't settle for buying this 3rd fight in the trilogy. I know Roach won't put Khan in there. Judah or Bradley not enough of a promotional draw. Sergio too much of a risk. Heck, I think Pacman should meet Donaire @ 135!!! Berto is out after his poor showing. I actually think that PacMan should fight Ortiz and pick up the WBC belt. At least Ortiz could sell the fight somewhat. Or how about a jr middlewieght showdown with Chavez Jr? Speaking of which, still waiting on Canelo vs. Chavez =(

On the plus side, I'm trying to tell myself that the Hopkins vs. Pascal 2 will not be as sleepy as the first fight.

Oh, and still would like to see Cintron and Williams get it on again after that odd ending where Cintron was hurt falling out of the ring. That was shaping up to be a firefight.

i think overcoming a bad style match-up is more difficult than overcoming size/weight disparity like what MP is doing now...

if PBF is unavailable then a trilogy with JMM aint so bad...

Fruck about the catchweight. Marquez should come in at any weight he is comfortable just like Pac. More or less like this.

                      weight in
                      Marquez 140
                      Pacquiao 144

                      at fight night
                      Marquez 148
                      Pacquiao 148

You see, Pac is a small light welterweight actually. You can't compare him to the coward queen Floyd most probably he outweighed Marquez by 15 lbs in their fight.
