At this stage, Marquez is just fighting to see if he can beat PAC. He got two shots and and he couldn't do it...came close but couldn't do it.

It would be much better for Marquez to fight Pacquiao because there is more money in that fight and he has a better chance to win than against Judah. Marquez won't do well against the style of Judah IMO, and he won't get paid nearly what he should against him either.
Having a speed disadvantage is one thing. Having a speed and size disadvantage is another.

GBP is his promoter. GBP offered these fights to him thinking that he can take them. He obviously wanted none of them. Are you Marquez's brother? Why don't you let these fighters decide for themselves? You're not the one fighting. If he's willing to go at 143 for Pac, I don't see why he can't take Khan, Maidana and Morales. Berto wanted him and would probably agree to a catchweight. Who would have known that Marquez wouldn't even entertain it? A guy who one idiot says will fight anybody.

I think JMM has a legit shot at beating Zab!! Zab has tremendous skills, but he always lacked focus and mental toughness. He allows himself to get outboxed! Would be a great fight.

I wonder who's correct here, Marquez on Mayweather, or Marquez on MannyP.??? Or is this anyother example of the syndrome which drove him to refuse $750,000 to fight MannyP. and accept $32,500 to lose to Chris John.
Erratic thinking......??

at people eating up Marquez's bull**** as usual.
The man is already in training for a summer fight but he's trying to trick people into thinking he's pursuing a Pac fight? Making a fight with Manny/Arum would take a weekend at most, look how quickly/easily Sugar Shane Mosley promotions got a deal done with Top Rank. If he really wanted the fight, he can have it in no time. Just wait until the night of May 7th and by May 9th he could have a $8-$10 million fight signed, sealed, delivered.
But he's gearing up for Guerrero in the summer, Zab in the fall.
Marquez before the GBP offer:
"Everything is up to him [Pacquiao]," said Marquez. "I know the people want to see a third fight. Maybe his company doesn't want to make the third fight but like I said everything is up to him. I'm ready. I'm ready to fight him and he knows we could make a good fight."
After Arum says he wants Marquez next for Pacquiao:
"A lot has been said that if I sign with Golden Boy, the third fight with Manny Pacquiao will not happen. But I do not know if that's something that the people still want to see".
This is the Chris John fiasco all over again. How many times can a man get away with the same played out trick?
