Its sad to see what this great fighter has been reduced to in order to try to get that third fight with Pacquiao. The sad reality is as much as he deserves a third fight with Pacquiao, he won't ever get it, Pacquiao won't fight him again.

Not at all because Pacquiao is scared, because Pacquiao is also game and not afraid of anybody. But because of the money involved. The sad reality is there would be more money in fighting Mayweather, Ortiz, Khan/Bradley, or a Cotto rematch,, than fighting Marquez.

Manny's first catchweight came at 147 too (altough he didn't go as low as 143) but he came up from 106 (with heavy pockets)

Marquez has been a game fighter ever since he lost to Floyd. Everybody knows thats not how you get in the ring with Manny. You have to get blasted in the ring like Mosley and Margarito in order to get that match up. Its obvious that JMM has too much left in the tank.

Anyone who thinks jmm would do anything besides get put to sleep is joking themselves. This isn't even a real fight at this point, it's a beat down. It's gonna be sad to watch, and then even worse to hear the lame ass excuses from all the fools on jmm's **** the day after. Jmm is the lowest risk fight above 140. Him and zab are on the same level, and it isn't an ellite level. Any of pacs past 4 opponents would eat jmm up and spit him out. He's a light weight, he doesn't belong up at 140 and he gets murked by anyone with a pulse at 147. Why people keep clamoring for this fight I'll never understand.

Don't do it Marquez.Pacman probably will only fight U at welterweight.I don't know why,after all he's tiny.Zab at 140 is also a tall order.U should finish ur career at 135.But I know Ur a warrior & will fight anybody.I wish U the best.

Ortiz just had the biggest HBO ratings in years. So yes I think a fight with Ortiz would do better than Marquez. Remember Marquez fought Katsidis on HBO not to long ago and it didn't even fill 4,000 seats, plus ratings were not that good.
And Bradley would fight Manny only if he beat Khan, which would expose Bradley to a larger audience and then be ready (exposure and money wise) to fight Pacquiao.

You really can't blame Pacquiao for wanting to fight big names for big fights now, anymore than people here blast Marquez for trying to get the third fight. These two warriors have fought everyone infront of them and have really nothing left to prove. THey just want their paychecks now.
