    Implement Random Hair Follicle Tests

At least for title fights but I think they can do it with all fights. I propose hair tests in consideration for fighters who don't like the idea of frequently getting stuck.

Some fighters are willing to take potentially harmful PEDs and some are not. I don't like wondering if I'm watching a clean fighter against a user. I would enjoy fights much more if I'm as assured as possible that the fighters are on an even playing field. The current urine tests are basically the commissions way of giving fighters permission to use whatever they want as long as they have their system clean by fight night.

Regardless of how PEDs became a popular issue in boxing recently I think it should be acted on. I can't imagine why fighters themselves who are clean would not be behind the improvement of testing so that a standout performance won't be subjected to su****ion and to also be more assured that they're not fighting a user. Seeing that boxing is one of the most physically demanding sports out there I have no doubt that numerous boxers use PEDs.

Why not at least implement random urine testing? It's disturbing to see that these commissions have not made any attempt to improve their testing protocol in decades, when at the same time PEDs have made giant strides in development along with agents that can be used to mask them. It's as if they want fighters to use PEDs because they think fights will be more ferocious. They don't care that boxing is one of the deadliest "sports"... all they care about is making more money. I'd like to see them set their greed aside and improve the drug testing.

        What if they have alopecia?

Btw, I do like that you say do it for all fighters.

if a fighter simply can't grow hair anywhere on their body then let them do random urine tests for that particular fighter. i think they can even use your finger nails but im not sure.

Ok seriously I know Gayweather started this steroid witch hunt because he's a p.u.s.s.y **** but steroids don't even help in boxing. They **** up your blood cell count and **** up your stamina. Look what they did for Vargas and even Mosley looked like S.h.i.t in the 2nd Delahoya fight. Blood doping works but that's not even what the Gayweather clan is crying about.

Where in the thread do you see that I even mentioned the word steroids"? Anytime people mention PEDs you'll hear *******s translate it into steroids and steroids only. Also, there are many different types of steroids. Some help you to maintain muscle and energy during hard training, and if you've never taken them then you're hardly an expert.

And it seems that people can never resist turning as many threads as possible into a Mayweather Pacquiao issue.

Good idea. I am completely for any kind of drug testing in any sport. I think it is pathetic for fighters to refuse drug testing when asked to do it. Why would anyone who is clean refuse to take a drug test? To me it is su****ious for a fighter not to take a drug test when asked to. Like you said, the current system set in place seems to have some deficiencies since I think some guys have gotten away with steroid use in the past. Therefore, I agree that a new system must be enacted in order to improve the condition of the sport. Actually, the sport needs to have many other aspects addressed, as well.
