Vitali has more 1 punch KO"s than Shavers.

Shannon Briggs said Vitali hit him harder than Foreman or Lewis....... but really who do you guys believe? Shannon or actual facts.

Shavers hurt a lot of people but was never able to put them away at the highest level and his 1 punch KO prowess is like the toothfairy.

Dude hit hard but to always bring his name up in historical context of punchers is biased and ******ed. Especially when everyone pretty much agrees one of the determining factors of KO power is 1 punch KO prowess. Holmes got caught about as flush as a man could and came back to beat his ass. Ali didnt even get dropped.

When you're talking the most poweful punchers you have to look at facts. 1 punch KO is the best indicator of KO power. David Tua, Mike Tyson, Joe Louis, Wlad Klit, Lennox Lewis and Rocky Marciano.

    The end.
It is impossible to say. Well, Vitali did fight two cruiser weight champions and they lasted a combined three rounds. Others fought similar sized cruiser weights, and they last the distance.

you won't find any match ever to drop anybody that fast from his cross, and like I said, you won't find anybody that small who basically had to run away just to survive his shots. Jerry, another basically lhw vs. a hw mercer, had to resort to not trading because his weight was too small. He hit Jerry too hard in the first at exactly 1 minute and 23 seconds. Jerry gets caught and is hurt. No match ever ernie has h4 ever hit anybody that hard or easy in the first with those few shots made in the first.

Did Earn look like he hit his jerry harder than Mercer hit his? Did Earn have his Jerry running more than Mercers Jerry?

mercer looks like to me he had his Jerry more scared,on top of mercer shots look way harder with way better tech

earnie Jerry brawled with him, mercers Jerry couldnt

Missing from your analysis is the people that shavers hit. They were a lot tougher opponents. And you are talking about two distinct skill sets. Probably the best finisher in boxing heavyweight history is Liston, shavers was not the best finisher. That's different than power potential.

The reason I know shavers hits hard is word of mouth and testimonies. Records don't paint picture.
Like Zhang probably hits harder than wilder

I would say 1 punch ko power is due to a combination of speed and power. A fighter can be a hard, thudding puncher, but not necessarily a ko type puncher. In my years of watching boxing, one punch kos are typically the result of a fast punch.
