And let's say for a second floyd has an incredible workrate, which he doesn't. He still wouldn't be able to hurt Margarito enough to slow him down.

Sure he's got his legs, but marg is a master at closing space, and even if he runs track for 6 rounds, marg is eventually gonna walk him down.

Or he'd be boo'd so much for running(because he'll have to run the entire 3 minutes of every round to be safe) that he'd be forced to fight, or everybody loses respect.

that's pretty much the assessment of any person with an average iq who have watched this fight. you can come up with the most technical-sounding description of how floyd could beat margarito and all that, but it would still mean nothing. this is not about either floyd or even pacquiao. this is about margarito. pac landed some of the most solid punches that ever been seen in a boxing match. (just watch it again and learn.) and they were phuking millions of them. margarito still managed to stay afloat. the biggest question to ask is whether floyd could take that kind of pressure from a guy who keeps coming and literally just walks right through your punches. which means marg doesn't have to have the defensive skills to outbox his opponent. floyd would get cornered eventually. it would frustrate him and wear him down. you can imagine how it is once margarito begins connecting.

never thought margs pressure was effective, it worked against Cintron and Cotto, but mosley, Williams and Pac neutralized it, margs can.keep.going.forward slow and get pot shot and turned all night, mayweather was able to adapt to Castillo, Corrales length was no problem and Corrales had faster hands, hit harder and used pressure more effectively, Floyd also had no trouble with DLH height, mayweather adapted to.Judah and he couldn't land anymore, I'm a firm believer that pressure is not the remedy I believe pressure folds right into floyds hand of effective counter punching, lead hooks and rights and superior foot work and reflexes. plus if you ever noticed Floyd has the most effective pressure counter style,.
