GGG never had floyd's name recognition or history with his family. GGG is a knock out artist without a firm fanbase. he's high risk healthwise, and low reward.

Floyd has always been floyd, a guy who doesnt hurt people but outpoints them. Floyd is high risk but he's a famous name that doesnt ko people. Prize fighters dont duck money men like floyd who dont posses ko threat.

This whole notion that everybody ducked floyd is just not true. Floyd has always been the crown ***el whenever he fought anybody not named oscar (at that time the ppv king).

You guys bash arum for protecting fighters but somehow conveniently arum controlled floyd's career.

Your opinion of EVERYBODY DUCKING A FAMOUS FIGHTER WHO IS THE CROWN ***EL OF ARUM'S STABLE CONSIDERING HE'S A GREAT FCKING FIGHTER, is just that, an opinion.

Just know, professional prize fighters dont duck money men in boxing. Its the money men in boxing that duck due to them being money men and not wanting to risk their status.

I get people not wanting to fight a knockout artist who has no name on his resume and a still developing fanbase.

I dont get ducking a star boxer who outpoints his opponents and never hurts them.

    try again.
True about his lack of power. But keep in mind when Floyd was avoided he did show tremendous speed and power. As we learned Floyd will not KO you, but he can shut you out and make you look very ineffective. 2005 Floyd is very different from 2012 Floyd.

Not true. Prior to 2007 and defeating ODH Floyd was high risk, low reward. ODH was the crown ***el at TR, not Floyd. Floyd left because of that.

Again, agreed. But Manny refused to fight in 09 and prior to ODH Floyd wasn't the money man. Shane all but proves this-toothache and wouldn't fight him before ODH, after ODH comes into the ring to challenge him.

It's not what you as an individual get, it's what actually happened. Floyd in 2007 and before is very different from Floyd today. Those men didn't want to risk fighting someone that fast and that good.

I get that you hate Floyd, but omitting facts makes no sense.

ITS WHO YOU FIGHT AND WHEN YOU FIGHT THEM THAT MATTERS, not belts.

You being a floyd fan should know that, floyd told you that. belts dont matter amirite floyd????

dumby......Genaro Hernandez was undefeated at 130 and held the WBC and WBA titles, and was lineal at the time when they fought. during his career at 130 GH never lost at the weight until he got battered by pretty boy Floyd when he was barely legal to drink alcohol

      newflash

Hernandez was number 1 at 130.....Chico was the favorite and 1 or 2 with Floyd at the time they fought ta 130, it was supposed to be a unification with his wbc and chicos IBF...Chico got stripped

Castillo was prime and number one at 135

Gatti was top 5 at 140 and was on a career revival

at 147....Mosley was number 1 after a huge win, Baldomir was number one after beating Judah and Gatti, Manny was number one too

you cant dispute facts, nice try

you'd be better at trolling if you actually talked boxing with people who knew little about the sport

below 147 Floyd had a near 70% ko ratio.....sadly most the people on this board didn't know who he was from 1996-2005

Man, you know the deal. Very rarely do you get people to admit the truth regarding ODH, Manny, Shane and Kosta relative to Floyd. All 4 had a chance to fight Floyd earlier and refused, just like Naseem Hamed.

The only difference is Merchant pointed out on air Hamed wouldn't fight Floyd.

your incorrect attempt to compare the risk of fighting floyd vs fighting GGG still stands,

              incorrectly.

              genaro wasnt a great fighter.

              the point still stands,

FLOYD HAS YET TO FACE A LEGIT HALL OF FAME FIGHTER WHO WAS IN THEIR PRIME.

You can trout out prime ortiz, prime guerrrero, prime genaro, prime castillo(who beat floyd the first time),

              THE POINT STILL STANDS,

Floyd's best win is a non hall of famer and he has yet to face a legit hall of famer who was in their prime.

I can't find a prime ATG on Julio Cesar Chavez's record. Or Pacquiao's. Arguably Roy Jones. The list goes on.

Floyd called all them out before the fights were made

Mayweather was high risk low reward back then....a lot of his fights weren't even close....he barely got hit and stopped guys back then and he wasn't a cash cow....he was a prodigy as pretty boy Floyd

Bob Arum prevented Mayweather vs Mosley, ODLH and Manny from happening sooner.

Manny was scared of needles lol...he wasn't when he needed that fat check though lol.....cant hide from the IRS

Everyone has a weak point. An Achilles heel. For Floyd it is his hands. Fractured hands keeps you from dropping bombs the rest of your body can easily deliver!
He didn't lack power, but a reluctance to endure the pain. I bet Floyd would have a hard time opening a jar, with a stuck lid on a cold day. Fracture your hands, then age and see if you can.

this doesnt prove anything, i dont know why floyd fans continuously put this video up.

saying you want to fight everybody after just having a fight being interviewed doesnt prove anything.

now if floyd actually gave a hard offer aka actual fight offers to those guys he called out AND THEY SAID NO THANKS, then you would have a point.

Actual fight offers are a fight date, fight weight, fight purse and fight schedule.

Did floyd offer all those guys he called out in that video at that time period all those things and they said no, or is it just talk after he just had a fight and he's being interviewed????

                      you be the judge.
