Who would be the one that didn't want Donaire to be on Manny's undercards? Arum? He is Manny's promoter. Koncz? He is Manny's advisor. MEANING everything has to go through Manny because he is running the show. If you can show me PROOF that Floyd Mayweather Jr HIMSELF, said that he would fight Manny Pacquiao for $100,000,000 I will be quiet about it.

I think Arum/Pac go hand in hand. Manny could just be like put him down and Arum would find a way to do it bottomline and vice versa. Manny and Arum have every right to not let Donaire on his undercards but what would be the reason why something couldn't be worked out to let Donaire showcase his talent atleast once on a Manny Pacquaio undercard? I think people are over looking the interview Arum gave about why Donaire cannot relate to his own people. There is something deeper going on with all this.

Me too bud... It blew my mind how he actually expressed the part about the undercards because I had always said the same thing. And for you all arguing about if its Manny's fault or not.... STOP FOR A SECOND AND THINK....... This is not the only situation going on like this in TOP RANK.... Juan Manuel Lopez is to Cotto as Donaire is to Manny Pacquiao. THIS is the reason I despise TOP RANK. There is absolutely no reason why Juanma shouldn't benefit from Cotto's exposure and vice-versa... Also no reason for Donaire not to benefit from Manny's and vice versa... Bob doesn't understand that fighters have to feel appreciated in order to keep them. Nonito has Mega-Star potential similar to DLH in the sense that he is Fil-Am like DLH is Mex-Am. 1) koncz is in control of MP promotions
2) arum makes more money putting pac and nonito on separate cards
3) nonito would never take undercard pay for a pac fight. nonito makes more money fighting on latin fury and pinoy power than he would make on a pac undercard.

paulie is a cool cat, he always has something to say, which is nice. although i don't believe a word arum says, top rank's contract with donaire is certainly not finished. that's really no one else's fault besides donaire. he should've known to wait. now all this bs is keeping him back a bit, sucks to see it happen to a guy coming off his greatest performance. hopefully this gets taken care of soon....

Thank you! Mighty nice of you to say. If you were reading my posts more carefully, you would know that I linked the whole team to the Donaire thing. In business there are certain channels you have to go through to make decisions and most of the time. Everyone plays a part in making a decision for the best of the brand. Now if you want to believe that Pac had no say so in Donaire not getting on any of Pac's undercards, then that is fine because at the end of the day, I didn't hear Pac say it or read it coming directly from him. The only thing I am speaking is from a business perspective and before Donaire can be considered to be on anything pertaining to Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao has to approve it. To deny this fact clearly shows you do not know how business or the corporate structure works. In regards to Floyd Mayweather Jr. No one has heard a peep out of Floyd concerning boxing except what Zab Judah said and that was, Floyd would not be returning to boxing. Now we got Arum telling us that Floyd asked for $100,000,000 to fight Manny Pacquiao but since it has only been something confirmed by Arum.

I can believe the Manny thing because that was a straight executive decision and all people involved in the business have a say. Do you think Manny doesn't sign off on his own fights? And what also amuses me is that Pac fans talk about Floyd more than I do. Sometimes I post about something totally not about Mayweather and then I get a post reply like this "Yeah, but Floyd is blah, blah blah" and I'm like? Who is even talking about Floyd? Pac fans are obsessed with Floyd Mayweather Jr, so stop telling others that they are because if you guys never brought Floyd's name up, then I'm sure none of his fans would be on here defending him. The closes thing I got from the donaire situation is this.......

Rachel says Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz had called Top Rank, which promotes both fighters, to make sure that Donaire did not appear in the undercard of the Pacquiao-Margarito fight last November.

“I know for a fact that the November fight, Koncz called in and asked them to take him off the card,” Rachel said. “From what I heard it's Michael Koncz doing all the dealings because Nonito is not with MP Promotions and he doesn't want him on the cards.”

I don't know how true this is but it sounds like it is coming from camp Manny. Eventhough Koncz is making the call. He ain't going to make a move without Manny Pacquiao being in the loop. Only unless he handles his business differently. Find anything on the Floyd money request?

Are you a practicing lawyer? Did you write the contract? Have you even seen the contract? You are believing everything Bob Arum said which you cannot do, especially from the guy who stated "Yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth!" Are you that gullible to believe everything. Obviously, GBP saw something that they think nullifies the contract. If they fight it in court then we will find out. Until then, you cannot just believe Bob Arum. All that happened is a judge looked at the contract and stated that Bob has control for now. Another judge needs to look at it and see if it was breached.

No I'm NOT a practicing lawyer, but I WAS a practicing lawyer for years. Long ago, before I went into an academic and later a professional life.. It's NOt just believing EVERYTHING Arum says, the point is that WHAT he says the judgrAGREES with, and Arum EMPLOYS practicing lawyers who's business is CONTRACTS.

EVERYTHING ARUM says in this matter is COMPLETELY believable, and I'd rather back HIM than an ignorant 23 year old fighter with no education, who actually SIGNED the original contract with top Rank.

And I'm not a fool.
