Oh, are we still talking about Berto's withdrawal from the Mosley bout because of the Haiti disaster? If so, then imho you cannot fairly call that a duck because family and emotions are involved, and neither you nor I are in a position to make a truly accurate assessment on that.

It seems far more likely that the withdrawal was genuine when you consider the alternative..... that Berto happily signed to fight Mosley, but then for some reason suddenly got cold feet, and saw the disaster as an opportunity to duck Mosley by cancelling the bout.

Because we cannot categorically prove that Berto was in a fit mental state to continue his preparation for that fight, and because it does seem a rather unlikely scenario - why would Berto initially sign the contract if he wanted no part of Shane? - I would prefer to give Berto the benefit of the doubt in light of the fact that he did lose family members.

The main point is..... regardless as to whether Berto ducked Shane or not, that is not the same Mosley that Pac will be fighting in May 2011.

The point truly is he could have already fought Mosley instead we had to watch Mosley chase Mora for 12rds..My post clearly gave a time line when/what I was talking about,it damn sure was not about the Haiti disaster..It was the Disaster of Berto feeling like he should be getting 50/50 with a man who just sold out the Staple Center and had the biggest PPV's of the yr..It's about Berto ducking the challenge of the so-called shot Mosley to fight Hernandez..I don't wanna see this kid near a Pac until he fights Cintron Mosley Marga's someone of merit anyone jeez is that so much to ask from a fighter??Dude think he slick but he's not and any real boxing fan should not want to see Berto getting big money and he has done nothing to earn it..

Coming down on Pac for fighting Mosley,who cares Mosley's earned his paydays from yrs of service and pleasing us the fight fans..All I hear on these broads are people tearing him down and wanting Berto in his stead..What!!!!!!WTF has he done nothing,nothing at all..Mosley most likely will lose but so would Berto(he is nothing but a homeless mans Mosley anyway)so who is more deserving of the shot??A HOF who is at the end of his career and feels he has one more left in him,who's earned the right to try because dude fought guys(and help make they careers I might add)that nobody in their Div would fight..Or this puzzy azz MOFO who has yet to even fight a top 5 fight in his own Div??You let me know..
