I have watched the fight so many times, this is such a no brainer to me. Bradley was not landing ANYTHING! He landed so little clean, I believe Pacquiao threw away the last 3 rounds yes. But he did not win many others, certainly not 3 or 4.

Its no different than the NBA and ESPN. If you think ESPN was gonna dig deep into the Chris Paul failed trade or the Hornets getting 1st in the lottery, then you are foolish.
HBO is gonna protect their best interest and TR creating buzz for a rematch, creating a new star in Tim, while not damaging the earning potential of the floyd/manny fight, suits HBO's interest significantly.
But there is such a thing called subtlety. HBO crams their opinions down viewer's throats with such authority. The HBO telecast have become pundits whose credibility leads viewers to question their own eyes because of their ears.
There is no finesse to what HBO does. That's the disgusting part of it.
Once I remember George Foreman arguing with Lampley and Merchant during a live broadcast during the Roy Jones/John Ruiz fight. Lampley and Merchant tried to **** all over Jones once it became obvious that this was just another walk in the park for RJJ. Foreman would hear none of that.
George let into them. He said that HBO bought the fight, marketed the fight and that they all should support and celebrate what was happening in the ring. Of course Merchant pointed out that Ruiz was not thee recognized #1 champion at HW. Foreman insisted that Ruiz was one of the three champions at HW, and that Jones was indeed making history.
Where is the voice of reason on the HBO telecast nowadays? Foreman had to "leave" HBO after the Jones/Ruiz fight. Coincidence?
IMO the perfect telecast would be Al Bernstein, Teddy Atlas and Roy Jones. When Harold Lederman is done, I think it would be not only hilarious but informative to have Mike Tyson take his place as the unofficial scorecard.
Like Freddie Roach said, Tyson is probably the greatest boxing historian alive today. The guy has read books, studied old films and had access to one of the greatest and craftiest minds boxing had ever seen: Cus DD'amato.
I believe if networks put that combination together, whichever network it would be would instantly see a ****e in ratings. Tyson alone would be worth listening to .. even if the fight was boring. Each telecast Mike could watch the fight and make a reference to some old fighter that employed the same strategy that the guy in the ring was using.
That would be pure gold.

The Reverse Result if we would have used Compubox
Which fight results would be reverse if compubox was used to judge the fight.
Obviously, I think the system would need tweaking if it were to judge a fight, e.g. power punches counting for more, scored round by round and knockdown being counted for a lot more points.
But to make it simple lets see if we just take the final compubox number what fights would be reverse.
I'll start you off with a few.
Lewis vs Holyfield I [Lewis wins]
Lara vs Williams [Lara wins]
Mayweather vs Castillo I [Castillo wins]
3 results reversed to decisions I think would have been a fairer outcome.
What other fight results would be reversed?Last edited by D4thincarnation; 06-11-2012, 03:20 PM.

Feelings Will Be Caught:
More Pacquiao-Bradley fallout
Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, says at this time there are no plans to discipline or review the Pacquiao-Bradley judges.
Timothy Bradley reportedly suffered a fractured left foot and a twisted right ankle in the fight.
Bradley’s win over Pacquiao brought an abrupt end to any notion of a fourth fight between Pacman and Juan Manuel Marquez. Word is a September 15 fight between Marquez and Erik Morales is now on the front burner.
Another notable person affected by Saturday’s Pacquiao-Bradley fight is Floyd Mayweather Jr., who so far has served 10 days of an 87-day sentence. You can send Floyd a letter at the following address:
