Yea, never really heard about the bad part.... never been, but it looks rough.
That's the only bad part of Palm Springs, and Cathedral City isn't exactly "nice".

Most of Palm Springs is desert, golf courses, hotels, swimming pools, and big ass houses.

The North End looked like a suburd they built in the middle of the desert, and the lower income population moved in right away, and turned it upside down.

there is nothing in Palm Springs but 100 degree dry/humid irritating weather, retired senior citizens, golf courses, streets with no street lights, meth labs and desert gangsters who think they are tough because they are far away from the real goons in the city.....it isnt even that big.

I am from So Cali and have been there numerous times throughout my life, I have friends out there.

I know. I was just saying the North End there supposedly has a higher crime rate for it's size. It looked like they built a suburb in the desert, and lower income crowd moved in. It definitely doesn't look like other parts of Palm Springs. I think the North End has like 25,000 people so yeah it's not that big. I got family in Southern Cali though. My cousin Adrien lives in Long Beach and my uncle who's got some dough retired out in Irvine. Irvine is nice as hell.

Palm Springs mostly reminded me of Grand Junction in CO. Tons of big houses in the desert, but in the lower income section there's meth labs like crazy. Not really any gangs like you see in the cities, but some lsoers no doubt.

I read it and responded to it is post 77. If that is true, it doesn't change the fact that Pac is still getting paid a lot less money than Mayweather. If he made a total of $25 million against Marquez, that is still about $20 million less than Mayweather made against Ortiz. If he makes $25 million against Bradley, that is still $30 million less than Mayweather will get against Cotto. So, please explain to me how someone who is supposedly a bigger star than Mayweather and supposedly draws more fans is making $30 million less than Mayweather for a fight?

Yes its crime cause there is nothing else to do but swim and sell drugs if you are young. Old folks just play golf. Its grimey out there. I totally get what you are saying.

I used to live in LB...they have real gangsters there and its much tougher in LB than in Palm Springs.

I actually lived in Irvine as well, its nice..very nice..one of the best cities economically in california.

What source do you find credible? Ben Thompson's fight hype? Because, he broke it down, how Pac is guaranteed 20mil for JMM. And, that wasn't counting the PPV upside.

The base is what Pac would get right after the fight. It's a check that he can cash Monday morning. However, he gets way more than base purse.

The only money that he is guaranteed to get is $6 million. The rest of what he gets depends on the profits and the expenses. The king of PPV, as the Pac worshippers on this site like to call their god, shouldn't have to rely on the PPV, television righs, sponsorships, etc. for the majority of his money when a nobody like Mayweather who has no fans (according to the Pac worshippers) is guaranteed $32 million for a fight and then gets an additional $20 million on top of that from other sources.
                    ...............Ok *****.

I'm a mayweather fan but damn u *****s can get so biased.
And what does it matter to you anyways? Yes floyd still makes more then manny, yes manny may be getting screwed by Arum......why do you care?

Btw, I've been to 2 mayweather fights(hatton and Moaley) and I've been the Pacquaio vs Marquez. By far manny brings more people through the gate and to vegas, it was insane!!! I thought may vs hatton was crazy.....manny vs juan blew it apart. From a audience perspective.

Why r u *****s so buthurt when people say manny is better then floyd?
U guys try to draw up bull**** comparisons when it can't be compared. Floyd sells more then manny ppv wise for sure, however look when and who he fights, and who is on the undercard. His team is far smarter then manny's. but manny does some things better then floyd also.

This fight is 50/50 or mannys deal of 45/45 winner gets the other 10. In essence mayweather turned down 65/45 cause he knows he is going to win right.........right?

Yes a bit of a rant
