I don't think he has to at least not in this situation. If it was a real criminal case maybe but even then there are rules to protect journalistic sources, it would have to be some real serious shit which they have no other way to prove

Don't put you and I on the same level on this topic~ we are as far apart as an ant and a hawk, this thread has shown it.

My opinion is firm I don't find this very meaningful nor do I think it will mean much.
      you're not just a fake know-it-all guy but also a self-exalting bigot

if you know a lot about the law you should be in the court right now defending somebody not in boxing forums posting garbage.

Whatever you say~ keep on searching.

I don't work all the time~ also currently I have pneumonia so keep on judging.

Plus this is a good place to stay sharp both in terms of writing (as I try to write in real English) and in terms of debate.

Am pretty sure they wouldnt or cannot even call the journalist onto the stand but i would let these Pacquiao fans be the lawyer for the day.

I do need to go lay down, I have expended to much energy. I do hate to leave something half finished though

you know what? i don't really understand what kind of satisfaction do you get from bragging about what you know over the internet to a random guy. it's ****** really to say the least. you don't impress people with that and you haven't really shown you know a lot...it's not even a good try.

Lol just STFU before you contradict yourself some more. You know a lot about the legal system, huh? You probably don't even know the burden of proof in a civil case like this.

true that he doesn't need to testify... but he can for the right price/persuasion.
he can waive his journalistic rights, especially if he feels we was lied to and put his reputation on the line.

It is less but they still have to prove to a pretty high standard to actually win.

The defense is always all about doubt, there is no proving just casting doubt on the other sides case and there are any number of ways to do it without proving anything.
