this is much more then simply "saying something bad about me on the internet". this is slander, and it has negatively affected a boxing legend's status in the sport as a legit fighter. it has swayed public opinion (although only the haters and idiots), and has called his character into question. this is a textbook defamation suit. i think manny can meet the lessened burden of "preponderance of the evidence" as well.

lol at this *****s scrambling to defend their retiree queen. The difference between Mosley and Pac, nobody accused Mosley that he was on PED like what Oscar and GBP, the Mayweather's family did. It was recorded, they had quoted and videos of it. Why not let the court to decide if the Mayweather's family accusation against Pac was indeed true? I dont see where Mayweathers have to prove its true , lol They should ask Pac to be blood tested in court its the only way to prove it right , wouldnt that little left rip *** with Pacs world ,,,,,,, Mayweathers being professionals only need to prove that they believe it and give a reasonable doubt as to why they believe it and if its substantiated by accredited PED experts I dont see what case Pac can have ,, basically on moral grounds the Mayweathers romp this in but the legal system and smart lawyers , who knows . they dont call the law an ass for nothing .

lol urine may detect some peds, but others it will not detect. thats why you need BOTH to catch a cheat. and as for this suit, to prove defamation you must show the defendants knowingly lied when they made the statements. if they truely believed what they were saying its NOT defamation. so this case will be VERY hard to prove. and why is it so hard for manny to take the ost? if he has nothing to hide, why wont he take the ost like shane. floyd is taking the same test, so how is that an advantage to floyd? take the test.

I think this was a way for Pacquiao to avoid the fight along with avoiding taking the tests. I don't know why people want to just single out one of these guys and say it's his fault for the fight not happening. They are both diva ass mofos in my view.

This whole lawsuit is a joke anyway. "oh no, he said something bad about me in the internet so I'm gonna sue.!!" The shit people can sue each other for in this country is a fucking joke.

golden boy makes money off pacquiao everytime pacquiao fights because of him signing contracts for both. it is part of the settlement.

de la hoya and schaefer's actions show they are not acting in the best interest of pacquiao so the least pac can hope for is that deal be cut off.

reloaded, you are absolutly RIGHT. most on the scene have no clue as to the trouble pac will have with this case. i have observed many cases get tossed due to lack of evidence.

if they truly believe that manny is on steroids they would have asked the commission to conduct an investigation, and the commission would have complied if there is enough reason to think that way.

the only "evidence" pacquiao is on anything is because he's kicking ass and he refused to take tests no one else in boxing has to take that has already been ruled out to present additional risk by the commission which he was willing negotiate the terms in the first place.
