Marg outweighs Manny by 17 lbs. = Manny is cherrypicking a bum w/ a catchweight it's unfair
Manny outweighs JMM by 3 or so lbs. = Manny is cherrypicking a bum w/ a catchweight it's unfairOriginally posted by Lorily View Post^^^^^^^this^^^^^^^^Originally posted by ModernTalking View PostPeetards still don't understand...140 or not a fair fight LOL. Fight-night weight?
Really?
The amount of muscle-mass and conditioning that you take into a fight is solely determined at the weigh-in. Rehydration weight has no bearing at all, and can even be detrimental.
"However, this fight only makes sense to me if it takes place at junior welterweight (and I would hope Marquez would weigh-in under 140 pounds). Why Pacquiao and company refuse to even consider fighting Marquez at 140 pounds (instead of the 144 or 147 they stipulate) is a very good question. The answer is obvious: they want every conceivable advantage against their aging but still-dangerous nemesis".....
It's just a b1tch-move to gain an unfair advantage, like they pulled on Cotto.

For the longest you thought Manny wouldn't face Marquez and now that it's about to be a reality, you are coming up with excuses because you know whats gonna happen.
Manny would be a joke to me as well if he was about to retire/KTFO of my favorite fighter.

How does it feel to know your favorite fighter is gonna get KTFO?
All those months of flaming and claiming Marquez would win, only to have reality finally set in.......

And he would fkn p1ss himself if Martinez went anywhere near him.
OBVIOUSLY, that fight will never happen.

There absolutely has to be a catchweight because we can't have Manny blowing up to 188lbs on fight night....

The Pacroid-circus ends when Manny finally steps up to a challenge.
He is nothing but a hype-job with a manufactured resume'.

yes, because katsidis is on pac's level. you fought margs at 150 cw for a 154 belt. defend that belt against martinez...you can come in at 144 again
not being able to comprehend my argument makes you the ******, buddy.
that's where some people get confused. just because pac fought at a lot of different weights, doesn't mean his different opponents can get matched up to his possible opponents. getting into boxing through the pacquiao bandwagon messed your thinking up, well for you...there's weight classes for a reason, just cause manny went through a lot of them doesn't mean everyone is suppose to live up to it.
Why can't Marquez come in at 145. He did it against Diaz and Katsidis.....why not Pacquiao?
Also, didn't you claim Marquez had Manny's number?
The first fight there was only a 1lb difference, the second fight a 2-3lb difference.......so if there is a 2-3lb in the third fight, shouldn't the outcome be the same, especially since Marquez has Manny figured out (as well as beating him twice like some people claim).
please answer this without ducking my reply. Leaduppercut your more than welcome to give your opinion as well.
