Cotto is now on the wrong end of his career and was fighting a guy that hadn't been relevant in ages. Keep in mind this was also a Showtime PPV, which was a new thing for Cotto and his fans.

200k paying customers is a good number.

fking cotto is such a PPV stinker. 200k is like UFC low.

Wait, how much were the prices? was it the maximum of 50-60bucks a buy?

or those cheaper ppvs thats like 25?

Cotto was never a big time PPV draw. Against Mosley they did 400K. not because he is 3rd behind Pac and FLoyd in PPV doesnt mean he is a top draw. i'd still say 200K plus buys were pretty good.

I guess we will find out when the real numbers come out from Showtime because they have to do an accurate accounting so it will probably be lucky to break 200k.

Still though 200,000*50 is $10 million in revenue, that is nothing to shake a stick at~

Shane was never a draw, we can prove this by the cards in which he was the first name. Each time Shane was the first name on a card it bombed, I consider a bomb 100k or less and that what Shane does as the A side. B side, of course he has more PPV numbers, he's been in A LOT more fights on PPV than Cotto it isn't even a fair comparison. Why not just compare from the day Cotto started on PPV and count Mosley from that point, that seems much more logical which I'm sure is hard for you to fathom. I'm not going to crunch all the numbers, but I think its a safe bet that Cotto has sold more than Mosley within the past 5 or 6 years.
