I'm no Ward apologist, but I do not think the venue matters in this one. I expect Ward to box Abraham's ears off.

There is a very slim chance that AA could land something big and close the show, but that seems unlikely.

Exactly, AA is just an overrated club fighter with power. Its not even like Ward has been getting crooked decisions or that AA has any chance of winning other than a ko shot out of nowhere.

What difference does it make where they fight? Abraham is just not a good Super Middleweight. He's a beast at 160.

well if he's fighting a guy from let's say sanfran then carson is a nuetral venue. but abraham is from germany and ward is an american who lives in cali...carson happens to be in cali.

I live in So Cal near L.A. (even though the fight is in CARSON) I can say that I am actually expecting to see MORE FANS THERE FOR AA than for Ward. But Ill be there rooting for Ward.

But I do think 60%, MAYBE 70% of the fans there will be Armenians rooting for AA. So Cal has a HUGE Armenian population. It might be Wards HOME STATE, but it's NOT his HOMETOWN.

AA will feel more at home here than Ward will. But I think Ward will take a UD!

              Lets go WARD!

California is a hell of big state...

Ward (23-0, 13KOs) is leading the Super Six Boxing Classic in points. Abraham (32-2, 26KOs) lost two out of his last three bouts, with a disqualification defeat to Andre Dirrell and a decision loss to Carl Froch. The winner will face the victor of Carl Froch-Glen Johnson in the Super Six finals. Froch-Johnson takes place the following week on May 21.

WTF Ward? Grow some balls man.

You're fighting a guy who lost 2 out of his last 3 fights ?

                That's cherry-picking at it's finest right there

It's a real shame to see Ward fighting near his home again. Ward is a cheating headbutting SOB fighting with corrupted judges and refs in Oakland. Look at the Bika scoring it was complete bull****. No fighters should accept a fight in a corrupted place like Oakland and if Froch wins against Johnson I hope he will never accept to fight anywhere near Oakland.
