I love him as a fighter but his ego is way out of line! Right, Manny gets 15 million for his fights now. But can you really blame the promoters for paying him that much when he does give a lot more to boxing in general?

Too much greed only hurts the fighter and the fans. Take it from the NFL, they are already making a lot more than you can imagine compared to common folks but their greed is making themselves suffer.

LOL, I see it happening too. The Donaire's seem to like drama all the time. Nobody is talking about Donaire so he gotta make some noise to get some attention.

Donaire know your place not a lot of boxers make money like you do. And nobody has heard of you outside of boxing. You ain't a superstar and you probably will never if you keep jumping ship.

****, Sergio Martinez deserves more money than you do.

What Bob isn't saying though is why he has upped Donaire's pay to 500k for Moreno? There could be a contract extension to that, like what GBP tried to do with JMM, saying we will get you the Morales fight but we get your next 3 fights as well. Bob Arum is like how they described the devil in the Exorcist, he mixes lies with the truth and only tells half-truths at that. But what happens if Moreno doesn't accept the 350k? Who does Donaire fight next and how much does he get, does he still get 500k???

There are only four elite class fighters above all, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Martinez, and Donaire belongs there> Max Kellerman. Nonito is now a star and deserves 7 digits paycheck. Donaires have to up the ante they deserve.

Top Rank has a one year extension that starts in June, with or without Moreno.

What Donaire isn't saying is how he couldn't even sell out the Mandalay Bay for the fight with Montiel. Most of the people there were Mexicans. Just listen to the reactions from the crowd when the fighters are announced. These guys wants big bucks but they can't sell any tickets.

Cotto is an East Coast fighter but had the biggest Vegas crowd I think since the Mayweather-Mosley fight. Thousands more than Donaire or Khan-Maidana or Marquez-Katsidis.

No way Brandon Rios, he's a bum and doesn't deserve any attention, just still a PUTO.
Donaire a Filam is a star in America, Rios a Mexican living in Oxnard was unnoticed.

I really wanna see Arum co-promote more specially his Lightweights against Golden Boy lightweights. I get the feeling he doesn't wanna get his fighters beat...like come on who asked for Soto Karass- Jones rematch and Antillon - Soto. those were good fights, but they can wait.

But he does need some more big wins.
$350k for his last fight , $500k for his next fight , $250k minimum?

                    for a bantamweight?

                    man........

mr. marcial is smoking dope if he thinks he's not getting paid enough.

i got no problem with a man asking for more money. if he can get it , more power to him. i believe everyone should try to get as much money as they can.

but 7 figures per fight? for a bantamweight?

to put it in perspective HBO World Championship Boxing offered $750k total purse for pac-jmm 2 in the immediate rematch of their 1st fight at 126.

$750k total for both fighters to split.

now is nonito even as big a draw as that 2004-2005 pacquiao?

                      another comparison.

neither juan manuel lopez or rafael marquez made 7 figures for their last fight.

at featherweight. a division that is more popular in america.

with puerto rican and mexican fan bases. fan bases that are much bigger in america.

both bigger and more well known names than nonito.

they both only got paid $700k.
