    Pac vs. Martinez since 2009

    Pacquiao:

    Hatton KO2
    Cotto TKO12
    Clottey UD 12
    Margarito UD12

    Martinez:

    Cintron D (We all know Martinez won this fight, so for the sake of the argument consider this a win for him.)
    Williams L MD12
    Pavlik UD12
    Williams KO2
    Dzinziruk TKO8

    I know lots of you will disagree, especially the day after the fight, but I don't think Martinez's recent track record is really much more impressive than Pacquiao's, if it is more impressive at all. No denying that those last two KO wins are highly impressive, but not a lot more so than Hatton and Cotto. People talk about Pac's opponents being washed up or having their soul taken, but Pavlik fits that to a tee as well. Clottey and Cintron are the same win. So are Margarito and Pavlik IMO.

    Just saying, I know people are overreacting but take an objective look. If you disagree and think Martinez's recent record is more impressive, I can't say you are wrong but it's not that much better IMO. If Martinez gets another win like his last two over a comparable opponent, and Pacquiao fights another sham fight, then I'll definitely be moving Sergio up. Thoughts?

    Whenever Martinez is beating guys in his 6th division than we can dicuss this LOL.

        I rank martinez behind Pac. People talking like Pac been fighting chumps. Pac just making it so damn easy beating world class fighters people think they're tomato cans.

                Can we please try and keep the trolling and the ******* vs. ***** crap out of here? I know that's pretty much impossible but at least keep it at a level where the thread doesn't suck because of it.

                    again *******s argue legacy instead of p4p. no martinez cant carry pacs jock strap on legacy but p4p hes better. hes fighting better opposition on the upside while pac is fighting lesser oppisition on the downside.
