Which Mayweather Fight Made Him An All-Time Great?

Are we talking about when Floyd fought Oscar?
Because, is so, Oscar was not #3 at that weight-class, he was #5....#5...
Beat Mayorga for the belt, and Mayorga won the vacant strap by beating Picirillo...What did either mofo do to fight for the title?
Oscar was 2-2 in the last 4 years prior to facing Floyd, really should have been 1-3...But, whatever...Oscar was such F'ing fraud...Was very good at fooling people and he was done by that time too. Was just good at fooling people.
It was a garbage ass belt. The WBC belt at 154 has been straight garbage since Winky Wright vacated it.
All of the mofo's who won it after, was straight paper champ...Like you couldn't have become more of a paper champ.
Just garbage.

he has the goods, he has the skills, he has more than the ability, but he hasn't fought that fight, he hasn't been in the ring with someone we all want to see him fight, and he really hasn't taken any risks in his fights.
there isnt one fight with the exception of the chico fight where he was an underdog, he's always been a favorite, and pertaining to chico, the only thing that made people hold out on calling floyd the overwhelming favorite was corrales had one punch ko power, which was a wild card, and we saw how those styles played out.
until floyd fights through real adversity against a real threat and over comes, he's not an ATG, at best he's a POTENTIAL atg, POTENTIAL............. the jury is still out on that one, and it's all predicated on who he fights and beats....... and all of that is one big IF.............
doesn't the fact that he hasn't really "fought through real adversity" in itself deserve merit?

The fat Marquez?
The fat Hatton?
The old De La Hoya?
The 15 months inactive Mosley?
The underachieving Judah?
The turtle slow Baldomir?
The non-Hall of Famer Corrales?
The Ward I, II, and III veteran Gatti?
Samba Mitchell who?
If Floyd never ducked active Mosley, Margarito, and Cotto, would he be getting more respect today from highly knowledgeable boxing fans?

Look at year end rating....Oscar and Floyd fought in May of 2007.
That end of 2006, beginning of 2007 rating. If you look nobody did anything(besides Mosley) to warrant a move down or up from the beginning of the year to "The World Awaits"
Then after Oscar "strong" showing against Floyd, coupled with Floyd moving back down to WW and Kassim Ouma losing, at then end of 2007 beginning of 2008 is where Oscar was ranked #3 at 154.
