Why do Mexicians dislike Canelo, so much?

Okay I understand he has a padded record, He maybe a little ****y and he shouldn't of got that World title shot.

Firstly because he didn't deserve, Secondly because it was at a Catchweight, Thirdly it was against someone who equally didn't deserve the shot and lastly he didn't even make that Catchweight.

But I think it is more of an example of the state of boxing today and how corrupt the WBC is,
Canelo was offered a title shot? He is hardly gonna turn it down?
I haven't followed Canelo for long, so It's a genuine question.

It's first ***en headlined fight and the kid drew in over 11,000 fans! that is not hype that there is a star in the making with a following. Everytime hatton would hit on the break canelo would pound him back. Canelo has every bit of the mexican toughness that mexican fighters have brought to the game.
