JMM dont deserve to fight Pac now. He has done nothing since moving up from 130

Marquez has looked good,but its mostly beating same size brawlers that are made for him,so to say he beats pac now cuz of this,its not making sense,and to say he does this while going up weight and being slower than when he last fought pac makes even less sense,plus pac being natural at the weight now,being as fast and if not stronger,with better technique and more to his game now.

I dont find his wins over katsidis or diaz that special at all,if you consider the level they were both at.

Marquez would convince me more if he beat the other lightweight champions and unified lightweight,and looked to be able to fight light welters and welters and beat them convingly enough to say he could make a 3rd fight with pac competitive.

How can you say that Marg, Cotto, and Mosley were not the top WW's when their lose came against each other. Their not exactly losing against bum opponents.. Clottey was a good fight as a replacement for the Floyd fight..Other than Williams, he was the best option.. A lot can be said after the fight but that's because he was fighting Pac, but Clottey is one of the top WW's..

The 2 fights that you are referring to took place in 2008 at SFW.. Pac has done way more at the higher weights than JMM...And I said way, way more.. Because JMM has really done nothing significant at all (other than the Floyd fight) since moving up to LW...

Easy, because they weren't/are not top WWs. When Pac fought them.

If Pac cannot get credit from you guys for fighting the top WW fighters like Clottey, Marg, Mosley and Cotto, what more for fighting JMM at WW at that..

Like I said, JMM should fight a legitimate WW before goin' against Pac to raise his profile.. Something that he lost since moving up to LW.

If you're going by that ****** logic.

Casamayor was the lineal champion.

Diaz was a top 3 LW

Katsidis was ranked #1 at LW by every respectable ranking.

JMM fight is just as garbage as the Mosley fight.

Diaz were ranked high in the LW division with the departure of Campbell and Pac..But seriously who did he beat to get such rankings.. When he was undefeated he fought an old Julio Diaz and Freitas, who were both on the way out

Casamayor should have never been ranked at all after an 12-14 month hiatus since he got the lineal title..He fought a drained Corales to get that lineal championship

Katsidis was even worse.. All the top players either moved up to LWW or had retired by the time he was ranked high..Besides Soto and Guerero were better fighters than him..


At least Mosley, Marg, and Cotto moved down from the rankings after fighting among themselves or after being beaten by Pac or Floyd..

JMM has done plenty to deserve a fight with Pacquiao. But he's too small to fight Pacquiao at 147 or 140, and Pac aint going down to 135.

Marg was taken out of the rankings after the controversial hand wrap issue. But before he fought Mosley he was ranked #1 at that weight.. He had one fight that lose him that spot, and that was against Mosley...Mosley lose his spot after losing his fight against Floyd.. He had a draw against Mora, but seriously despite lookin' awful against Mora, he did win that fight...You see were I am gettin at.. Plus you cant really complain because Pac did fight all of them with the exception of Floyd..

You cant really compare that to the LW division because fighters were moving up in weight or retiring, thus bumping guys like Katsidis and Diaz in the rankings.
