I have never been a fan of a boxer fighting after their time and yes, Jones Jr should of retire once He started getting beat by lesser fighters. Maybe after Tarver.

That's right,WHY DOES MANNY HAS TO FIGHT ALL BEASTS IN THE GAME AND FLOYD STAY IN RETIRMENT TO WAIT TO SEE MANNY BECOME SLOWER AND SHOT?
MANNY HAS NOTHING TO PROVE YET!!!
IF FLOYD WANTS TO FIGHT,HE HAS TO FIGHT NEXT TIME,IF NOT BYE BYE....MANNY DOESN'T NEED THAT WOMAN BEATER!!!

look dawg its not that shane was undefeated its because he was the top welterweight at that time, because he destroyed margarito right, shane wanted a fight with pac after that but pac team ducked him plain and simple right, well after that he challenged floyd and we know what happened, and now pac wants to fight him when everyone knows hes going down hill and we not only saw it in the floyd fight but in the mora fight, so tell me bro why didnt they fight shane after he destroyed margarito, shane even said he would fight him in a catchweight and these are facts if you start complaining saying im a ***** that shows me your like the rest who arent boxing fans but nutthuggers of your fav fighter

Yes Mosley was the better fight but Cotto wasn't a bad fight and yes Pac deserves credit to say otherwise is absurd.
I agree but not full credit. If he beat Cotto at 147, for sure, but at 145? He wasn't even sure if he could hang with a legit WW fighter. I think that only deserves half credit. Cotto beat Mosley at 147 and Pac didn't. Fighting Shane instead of Cotto would have been a better look.

That's what I'm saying. Everything I be bringing up really was said or happened. How does that make me a *****? Because I'm saying it and they don't want to hear it? My thing is that, Pac already fought successfully at WW against Oscar but needed a weight advantage against Cotto? The same Cotto who already was looking a lil shaky after Marg and in the Clottey fight (Props to Cotto for fighting with blood running in his eye like it was). No name calling or cursing can change that this conversation indeed happened between Roach and Mosley.....

Roach said that though a “Mosley fight is probably the most exciting because they both like to fight,” it's all about making the fight on even terms.

"I have to protect my fighter,” said Roach, who administered the terms for Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya last year. “I spoke to Shane and told him that we would fight him at 142. He said he can’t make that weight.”

Mosley asked why not 147, as Manny/Oscar was set at 147? Roach said that Mosley is not De La Hoya in terms of setting a weight handicap.

We all agree that Roy Jones Jr should be hanging em up now but no one can take away what he did in the start and the prime of his career. Don't see Pac being considered as a greater fighter over Roy Jones in the boxing hall of fame when it is all said and done.

Pac beats Mosley.....more failed attempts at Floyd negotiations, then Pac and Berto fight...Pac destroys him too and then it's off to rematch JMM yet again next March. Pac finishes off 2012 with a match against Omar Chavez.

In his prime, Roy Jones Jr was an amazing fighter. That's the point I am making. Pac fans think no one is or was greater than Pac? That's ridiculous. Jones finally got beat by an actual threat (Tarver) at the time. When was the last time Manny fought a threat? I don't want to make it into that kind of debate but to say Manny is greater than Roy Jones Jr was in his prime is crazy talk.
Floydites are equally amazing. You are quick to point out Manny's early losses, but fail to recognize, and admit too, that RJJ, FMJ are products of professional grooming.

                    Pac had no such thing.

Pac came from the dirt with lothesome training gyms , equipment and no doubt thrown to the lions.

Pac was NOT manufactured like Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pac was Made from Blood Guts and GAMENESS

While FMJ is in a corner sweating , worrying, crying for his mama, Pac is fighting ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL COMERS,,,one at a time.

You talk about his losses, will those guys whip him today ???????

Do you not have sense enough to know that the only one that counts is after Pac finally got a trainer and that was Freddie Roach. Pac avenged that LOSS, I predicted that night he would lose because I thought he was too green to beat the GREAT ERIC MORALES,,,All time GREAT !!!!!!!!! Much Greater than FMJ !!! Pac avenged that LOSS TWICE

                    and the beat goes on
