Cotto was asking for more money to defend the belt at 145. The belt was a ****ing joke but the fight is not. In any case, who gives a **** about any alphabet titles anyway.. Plus Cotto made weight at 145 easily and was not a factor in the fight..

I agree that it was on Cotto but Manny already showed us a spectacular performance at 147 already. Why couldn't he fight Cotto (The Champ) at 147? Why would someone of Manny's exceptional skill set need a catchweight when he already fought at the full limit already? At the end of the day. Cotto wanted to get PAID. I would have held out for more money too if Pac wanted my title I won at 147 at a catchweight.

Manny was a not a legitimate WW when he beat DLH and Hatton..In case, you have selective memory everybody wanted him to move down to LWW or LW after the DLH fight because they thought he wouldnt last long against a legitimate top WW. Hence, the catchweight. Besides you refuse to give him credit in the DLH fight anyway so your argument there does not stick..

Manny fought Oscar De La Hoya at 147 not 145 for his first try at WW. He even weighed 149, night of the fight. Why couldn't Pac take the fight at 147 with Cotto? If weight wasn't an issue. Why did Roach and Pac hold out and make Cotto give in?
