youre so in love with Floyd you think he has a purely unique style of defense, that no one comes close to and no one has done before. reality is, others have used his style before plenty of times...most alike are his family members. like Roger Mayweather, his trainer.

and congratulations! you made yourself look like an idiot all by yourself, without any of my help. learn how to spell before calling someone it.
gracious you are ****** kid HAHAHAHA floyds guard is multi dimensional in it's self....it's not just a philly shell moron. he does the high guard, the philly guard, the low "weave" guard (see corrales fight) & many others.

again, you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not in love with any fighter I'm just stating facts....you're emotional & bent on pushing your agenda. who says things like they are in love with such a fighter? no. it is YOU who feels the need to push off your views. i don't agree with them bud....

by your logic oscar & floyd have the same defensive styles. joseph agbeko & floyd have the same defensive styles.....just admit that you were wrong and MOVE ON.

put your pride to the side idiot.

      oh, right.
Yep, that was a dumb thread, but I have to pretend to be a fan of his somehow.

        and second of all...

sparring stories can be extremely misleading, and even when theyre true dont actually mean anything since you dont actually know the situation nor does it reflect on who is the better fighter in the real ring.
you don't believe it? face it. a 17 year KID was better then randall in sparring WHOOOHAHAHAHAHA. the same randall who had just beat A 140 chavez.....

why is it so hard to believe????

lol @ first of all. i don't believe it.

        HAHAHAHA

LOOK, YOU A** FROG. the only reason I brought that up because you were TROLLING trying to use castillios sparring with chavez as a medal. i would have never mentioned it if not for your trolling.

          uh huh.

Well then. Chavez knows how to break the 'philly shell' guard, as shown in the Roger Mayweather fight. Chavez also knows how to break the high guard, as hes done in multiple bouts. He also knows how to break the 'low weave' guard, which seems like a made up one anyway, as shown in his fight with Lonnie Smith.

and yes, Oscar and Jr used similiar defensive guards for a while...they learned it from the same exact man, Mayweather Sr. It fits Jr much better than it does DLH, however. Yes, Mayweather can use different styles of defense...so could Oscar, and virtually every top fighter. but Mayweather uses that one the most and is often the most frustrating for other fighters, so its very relevant to bring up how Chavez knows how to get around it.

its 'itself', by the way, not 'it's self'. and try to attempt to actually use boxing knowledge instead of HAHAHAHAHA and insults you cant even spell.

fact: Mayweather's two toughest fights were against someone that resembled Chavez stylistically, was his sparring partner, and was in almost all ways worse than him.

guess that means Spadafora wouldve beaten Mayweather.
better write that one down in the books.

a point to you for 'ass frog' though. never heard that one before.

******. roger wasn't some master of a philly shell. roger used a philly shell passively in the 2nd bout with chavez. but he mainly was on the outside with a pumping jab. & in the first bout it was the same thing, he was on his toes. just because a fighter uses a philly shell doesn't mean it's any kind of example towards another fighter because the other fighter may use it A LOT more effectivly. that's just COMMON SENSE you ret@rded sack of DEAD **** whoohahaha it's all about the overall package of a fighter. (what reflexes & skills does he possess) these kinds of things. you're obviously some fat **** with freckles who sucks down pizza & 2 year old fish....you sound like a fat **** who has never left his computer chair....experience boxing in REALTY kid. not just on boxingscne, boxrec, & youtube videos. get around old trainers they will correct your ret@rd logic in a heart beat about the sport of boxing.

mayweather tko'd chavez. the same chavez who gave morales trouble. also chavez didn't give mayweather the most trouble. it was castillo (due to a arm injury) and augustus who gave him the toughest fights.

mayweather in my opinion fought castillo with a messed up arm to a draw & he u'd castillo @ 100% in the rematch....

chavez sr. would have his ears boxed off.....

I think Mayweather would outpoint Chavez and win a comfortable UD.

I think however that he would crumble against Tito. Tito as a prime WW was pretty unstoppable and the size and power of Tito would be effective at cutting of FMJ and just breaking him down.

Tito/FMJ = Segura/Calderon. I just think Tito will hit anything available and I'm just not sure Floyd will take it all. I think Floyd can win, but I would bet my money on Tito.

did you even watch Mayweather-Pazienza? Mayweather dropped Pazienza with a counter right uppercut very similiar to what Jr likes to throw from his defensive stance, in the 11th round. Pazienza wasnt some bum, he was a good fighter. Mayweather tried to do the same against Chavez when the fight got in close, but Chavez was able to defend against the counters and also more effectively pierce his defense.

and who mentioned Jesus Chavez....? Ive been talking about Castillo the entire time.

for the record, I do have boxing experience, Im probably the best at my college, where they have an mma club. Not exactly a world beater by ny means, but I dont simply study fight film, I have some hands on experience...although you should start watching the fights, you might learn something.
