As someone else pointed out in another thread, nor does Peterson; and when Bradley chose to fight him, Peterson hadn't fought anyone of any note either.

McCloskey has good skills and a good uppercut, and as a tune-up for a July fight with Bradley, McCloskey is as good an opponent as any and a far better opponent than most of the alternatives. And his Irish fanbase will create buzz for the fight.
