    NEWSFLASH: LEWIS: " I know I can beat Klitschko"....Return????

    NEWS FLASH
Lewis: I know I can beat Klitschko!
Lennox says fight "stirred something inside me."
Current heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko may get his wish for a rematch with former champ Lennox Lewis after all. Like many former world champions who have been lured out of retirement by dreams of further ring glory, Lewis' resolve to stay out of the ring may have finally cracked. Lennox told reporters, "These kinds of fights do tempt me to think about coming back because when I see the weaknesses Vitali has, I know I can beat him. I felt like jumping in the ring and saying 'Danny, sit down mate, let me sort this out for you. Let me show you how it's done'. I'm nine months away from being fighting fit and watching the fight unfold last night stirred something inside me. It showed Klitschko's vulnerability."

Havent seen this posted and figured id post it, Sounds like good and bad news but Lennox is making the same mistake all retired champions have in the past and that is to come back, Although it isnt certain he will it is a hint of a possibility.

does this mean lewis retired to avoid vitali and now wants to come back cuz he sees vit weakness???

I think Lewis has nothing more to prove and should enjoy his life away from boxing....

.....I don't think he will actually decide to come back but I do think he is ****ier when it comes to Vitali because Steward has been giving him some good info and good advice on the side.

I think Lennox should stay retired becasue it could damage his reputation if he did get beat by some chance. I think he could beat Vitali but why risk trying when he already beat the guy once.

Everyone that says Lewis has nothing to prove is wrong. He was supposedly fighting as good as he ever had going into the VK fight and after the fight got stopped on cuts the HW champ of the world was down on all three cards...Beat VK is what he should prove....does he need to, to cement his legacy...probably not, well no, but this is a fight where LL has certainly got something to prove, plus it would be a great legacy builder (or crusher) if he were to come back after a year, year and half and crush VK.

If LL beat VK the way everyone thought then there would be no need to come back, he didn't therefore there is certainly has something to prove, not too me not too you but to Vitaly Klitchko.

Well if Lewis does comeback then Steward will more than likely train him and that would mean Wladimir would need to look for a new trainer, which could be a blessing in disguise. Anyone know why Wladimir refuses to be trained by Fritz Sdunek?

ejk22-Universum demands Vitali to train with sdunek so maybe something along those lines?

SCAP-You like other people tend to forget that each fighter had 11 days to prepare for each other, that is hardly enough to master a fighters style, Lennox was training to fight a smaller guy and planned to lean in on him and use his weight as an advantage which im sure is why he came in so heavy.

These two guys didnt box they brawled and that was because they were not prepared for each other completely, had each fighter had more time I think Lennox would have boxed his ears off.

I thought the Klitschko's were done with UNIVERSUM? They have their own promotional company called K2. I think Wladimir should be trained by Teddy Atlas. I think he would push the right buttons and possibly bring out the best in Wladimir.
