I ask these questions to myself a lot, what if this was Tyson pre-Douglas? What if this was Tyson with Gus in his corner? What if this was the late eighties version of Mike?

And to be honest, I still scratch my head with each one.

I think his comeback fight with Bruno was overhyped.

a pre 1990 Tyson was a beast man. I cant imagine someone beating Tyson that time.

the fight with douglas and his personal problems took something outta him....

Tyson with Gus beats holy..only early in there careers though and it would be a close fight.

Depends on which Evander showed up and which Tyson, Evander in there first fight was damn near unbeatable he hit Tyson with everything he had including his head. The 2ns fight was a different story Evander was nearly as in control in that fight but Tyson's loss of control always overshadowed that fact.

I think the tyson that had kevin rooney as his trainer was near unbeatable but holyfield was one of the most perfect fighters made to handle tysons style so I just cant call it.

I like Tyson to stop Evander if it was Prime Tyson, as in the Tyson who rattled Berbick and co.

Holyfield was almost beaten by a poor mans Mike Tyson in the always fun Bert Cooper

Back when Tyson had speed, yes. Tyson had one of the shortest 'primes' of any great fighter and it was all about explosive speed and in a big man I think it would have faded a lot quicker than with small men.
Poor training only hastened his decline, it wasn't the only reason for it.
