Will Cotto trade with the Managua Mauler

It's a VERY dangerous fight for him if he does. Personally, I don't believe Miguel has the power to keep Mayorga off him. Ricardo will be extremely dangerous for Miguel, given his suspect chin, in the early rounds. Yeah Mayorga is no longer in his prime, but make no mistake, he can still CRACK with them chopping right hands. And at 154lbs, if he lands on Miguel, it could be "lights out" for him.

Will Cotto stand and trade with Mayorga? Or will he be on his bicycle as he was in the Margarito fight?

Cotto was on his bicycle after Marg started taking over

And yes he will trade and destroy him

i don't think mayorga is as dangerous as people seem to think. he's only stopped 1 guy in the last 8 years...and that guy (michael walker) was stopped in the 2 fights before he fought mayorga. if they trade i think mayorga will be the one showing the weaker chin, especially if cotto works the body

Yeah but look who he's fought; Oscar, Vargas Forrest, Spinks, Mosley, Piccirillo (Ok fighter but decent chin) and Trinidad.

Mayorga's power is a big enough threat to make the fight interesting.

If Cotto trades with Mayorga,he will lose.He has to box & move & clinch & guard his chin.

I highly doubt he'd trade with Mayorga lol. I mean that really wouldn't make much sense considering that's not his fight and that would be entering Mayorga's wheelhouse. Not to say the fight wouldn't be entertaining if he did.....could be a FOTY type candidate for however long it lasted.

Yeah he fought those guys, and that's a valid point in that he's faced stiff opposition the past few years. But he's still not on Cotto's level as a fighter.....that's just clear. There is an obvious difference in sheer class.

But yeah of course Mayorga has the power to make it interesting.
