Originally posted by Mr. President View PostIt's no secret that Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach waits for fighters to be ruined before letting Pac fight them, but this is getting ridiculous.
First Floyd defeats Oscar handily and right after Manny swoops into fight him.
Then he DESTROYS Hatton and leaves him a shell of his former self in the most brutal KO of the year (which may or may not have caused Ricky's well documented stuggles with obesity and drug abuse) only for Manny to set up a fight with the broken man right after.
And now he's preparing to fight Shane "My tooth hurts and i need a vacation" Mosley, the same man who Floyd just decimated for 12 rounds straight less than 8 months ago.
It's facts like these that make me think Team Pacquiao are a group of cowards who refuse to face fighters at their peak. While Floyd steps up like the champion he is and faces these fighters while they're still threats, Manny plays the background until Floyd softens them up for him. That's not how great fighters operate which is why Floyd is looked at as the greatest fighter of his era while Pacquiao and his mouth piece Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach will be forgotten about in 10 years.
Just in case u missed the memo, though,Floyd has never fought, much less beaten Cotto,Margarito or Clottey. And they were all available since he touched down at 147.

it'd be OK if they said that he had the belts floyd wanted or some ****, but to say he was better than cotto or margarito (even at this stage of their careers) is ridiculous

I don't find Margario anything special at all, a tough hard man at his best which si the same as Baldomir pretty much.
The whole thing about Cotto is if Baldomir is similar to Margarito is is arguable that Cotto could lose to Baldomir. So that line of thinking has lead to more butt hurt people.

Baldomir to me had the opportunity of a lifetime against Zab, and he won. I believe though Mayweather fans hold his win over Baldomir highly because technically he was the recognized champ beating the recognized champ (no argument there). But again, this comes down to bias for those who side with either Pacquiao, Mayweather, Cotto, or whomever you're playing the comparison game with (or in this case...their opponents). You can give me a million reasons why Baldomir is better, as I've given reasons why I believe Margarito overall is better. But in the end, if you're a fan of Floyd's, it's kind of a like preaching to the choir. You'll believe what you believe, as I will believe what I believe, and ultimately I believe Margarito was the overall better guy.
But to each his own...

But, for little nitwits ****suckers to say that Baldomir was better than Marg or Cotto is just idiotic.
So the whole respect feeling is mutual.
