this is all ******ed. Neither side is wrong. Golden Boy was right for pushing a 3rd bout between Pacquiao and Marquez because it would have been a more lucrative fight- especially considering Shane's recent performances. Golden Boy got shane a shot at Mayweather and he blew it- not Golden Boy's fault there.

On the flip side, Shane is right for taking the bull by the horns and making the fight with Manny happen. Hell, let's be honest. Shane is dotting 40, it's time to get offer your ass and get that cash by any means necessary, before that window closes. Even if it means leaving Golden Boy.

But now the decision has been made, don't start bickering back and forth. Focus on the millions you're about to make fighting Manny and move on.

damn, hopkins just doesnt end careers but lifestyles as well. pavlik used to be a family man, at least thats how he was portrayed by hbo.seems like after the fight he was never the same. who drinks until they pass out..damn shame..all that money and nothing better to do with it.

and besides that, Shane just fought Mayweather and got beat. taking on Mora was(supposed to be) a get back fight. it did not turn out like that though.

its crazy how everyone is ducking someone nowadays here at NSB. if Mosley fought Williams guess what, fools on this site will say he ducked Martinez.

its like no one knows that this is a business and managers and promoters and fighters have to make decisions to stay in the game longer, and make a living.
if Mosley fought Martinez or Williams right after Mayweather he would for sure be retired right now. sometimes they have to get their confidence back, or put them into position for another fight or something...
but no one understands that, no one it seems can think, "If i were a manager, what would i do?"

I can guarantee that if Mayweather came back and fought a lower ranked fighter people will be up in arms saying he ducked him or him or him. When in actuality it would be better for him to do so before he jumps up to say a Pacquiao to knock off the rust and get back into it. it would be smart.....but again, here at NSB most people cant fathom making a good business decision

I've always contended that Schaefer and Oscar are a two
headed snake.
The gave Mosley an opponent in Sergio Mora
that can make him look bad
so they can justify promoting Marquez to fight Pacquiao.
A divorce is a very hurtful matter. Schaefer started coddling
to the ex. Man, what do you think that does to a man in
Schaefer's action.
It's like your friend started running around with your ex, partying,
hanging out, having drinks together, and so on.
Your friends' ex is off limits, man!
Get with someone else!
Unless of course the plan is to get rid of Mosley as
a business partner.

GBP been ****ing SSM

GBP hasnt done **** for Shane. Yall keep saying he got a big fight last year but look how long it took him to get it. Shane shouldve fought May after the vargas fight but im 100% sure Oscar paid him to step aside. GBP started feeding SSM to the young up and comers like Collazo which some people thought SSM was to old. Cotto which people thought SSM would get KO and he was to old. Marg which people though he would get KO and sent to retirement b/c he was to old. Top it off Oscar didnt even go to the fight & support his fighter. Berto but the fight didn't go thru.. instead of putting SSM with May GBP put Hatton, tried to put himself in there again and JMM. IF the Pac/May and SSM/Berto fights wouldve happened SSM still wouldnt have fought May. They had no intentions on making that fight or getting shane a big check. They are trying to repeat the cycle with Pac (dlh, hatton then jmm) leaving SSM out the loop again. IMO if it wasnt for GBP he wouldve had bigger fights long time ago. Im happy he left & GBP is showing their true character & feelings towards the man now that he is gone

if anyone should be bitter it's dlh who could have skewered mosley in the media after he was caught using roids in their fight, but instead of doing that, dlh takes him into his company and gives him some big paydays while maintaining his good guy image in the sport. mosley repays that loyalty by leaving the company and now running around and *****ing to media. he has no integrity, no wonder his wife left him.

Maybe the reason for that is because Oscar could have been dirty himself.

Pavlik had a problem before the Hopkins fight,it just came out later on.
