Mayweather is the most talented fighter of this era, but has not fought the best out there and not in their prime, he retired and completely dismissed the thought of fighting a lion like Cotto in his prime, they were both Jr welters at the time, struggled against Castillo, beat a starving Corrales who was beggin him to fight and didnt happen til Chico had court and weight issues, beat JMM who had to jump 2 divisions, beat an old Mosley, the best thing he ever did was beat an inform undefeated Ricky Hatton which i will give him credit for, but as much as i enjoy watchin him fight, its very disapointing he didnt do more with his talent, especially if the Pac fight doesnt happen, which i blame them both for, its seems they're both content not to fight each other.

If they were weight drained, old, shot,etc. it's not Floyds fault.

As for Margarito, Bob wanted options on Floyds future fights and Floyd declined because he had his sights set on De lahoya who Bob wasn't doing business with at the time.

Pacquiao will be mostly remembered for not convincingly beating
Juan Manuel Marquez, ducking the 3rd fight, refusing a random
blood test and fighting guys coming off loss's, winning titles at
catchweights and fighting 3 of the fighters Floyd beat prior than
Manny when they were winning and better overall. Manny is a joke.
Good fighter but master match maker. Manny is pure entertainment
but not a great fighter because he hasn't tested himself since
2008.

Manny's around to fight, Floyd isn't.

Floyd went outside the rules and regulations of boxing to try to avoid a fight with Manny and it worked.

Manny Pacquiao fights are ready made like packaged chocolate
pudding in the supermarket. Pac got two catchweight titles
and refused to fight a legit opponent (Martinez) at a catchweight
for Martinez's middle weight title for the 154 belt Sergio vacated.
Shows how much Pac wants the best challenges because you can't
get no better than Martinez if your really down to make a statement.

Pac doesn't face opponents who pose a REAL threat. He hasn't since Pac/Marquez II, when he was supposedly a "much improved fighter" but still had real trouble against Marquez.

Now you've just got to wonder why that is?


What should be obvious as hell is that Pac is limited in terms of opponent skill level. His last six fights are proof of that.

Pac doesn't fight the best at their best and hasn't since 2008, when he got counter punched with reality that his in and out style of mindless, volume punching doesn't work against every fighter.

Freddie Roach really is the best at knowing his fighters limitations and hand picking fights at the right time.

floyd hasn't said anything, that's my point! If you want something you go and get it, right? Is that what floyd is doing? Keep it 100! While I agree that Floyd should take on more challenges, he never ducked Cotto. Do you fact checks before you post. Matter of fact, it was cotto who turned down a fight with Floyd while both were @ 140. The excuse given by Arum was that Cotto was not ready for Floyd yet. I do think he should have took on Margarito but he made a lot more fighting Oscar which is why he turned down Margarito, and as far as Manny goes, I am a huge fan of his as my wife is pinay, but Floyd is not ducking him. I think both Floyd and Manny need to stop with all the drama and fight already. I will say it not as I have always said it, Floyd beats Manny every day and twice on Sunday. This is not hating, just stating facts. It's about styles and Floyd's is all wrong for Manny.
