If he want's to help his case for a Pacquiao fight, he will need to go at least to 140 and beat on of the top dogs there (Khan, Maidana, Bradley Alexander...etc). It won't help his case nor his Pocket ($) to stay at 135.

The other side of the coin is that if he does go to 140 to make money and make a case for a Pacquiao fight, he will be at risk to lose it all.

That's for sure, but I don't think he'll get a Pacquiao fight if he doesn't face a good, well known 140 or 147 lber either.

With Arum you never know. If he looks bad he might have a better shot at getting Manny. Just like Mosley getting the big fight by looking bad.

          jmm-morales is a horrible mismatch.

jmm has to find out what his goal is. if he wants to fight pac, then he has to fight khan or berto. if he wants to rule 135 lbs, then he needs to fight guerro followed up with fights against ARum's lightweights.

there's no money to be made at 135 lbs unless he calls up 126 lbers like Juanma. if jmm wants money, he's gonna have to risk his record by fighting at higher weights

Come on, Bob Arum is full of ****.

Beating Berto will not get Marquez a fight with Pac.

And beating Marquez will not get Berto a shot either.

time is running out for old-cry-baby-boy marquez for a big money fight...

hatton brings much to the table than any other opponents...

                  marquez-hatton in manchester would be a sell-out...

sure payday for the old-cry-baby-boy marquez...then retire.

JMM-Linares or JMM-Guerrero sounds interesting enough.
I like the idea. Reserve JMM's lightweight prime for Pacquiao on Nov or Dec 2011.

And someone could send sms to him not to clash with 140's elites.

seems like a good action fight and i think i rather would like to see him fight the Bradley/alexander winnner than Khan

                      but thats just me
Soto .... hmmm... I dont see JMM could really outbox Soto. As much as I like JMM's boxing skills, Soto on the other hand is a scoring puncher with precisions.

JMM should not even dare to join the clash of 140's elites.

Reserve him for Pac on Nov or Dec 2011. For the meantime he can pick tomato boxer as his warm up.
