It seems like Pacquiao always fights guys only when they don't appear to be dangerous

The Barrera rematch - Barrera had just came off a war against JMM and lost.
The JMM rematch - This is the only guy who you can honestly say was at thet op of his game that Pac has fought in the last few years
David Diaz - A total gimmie fight for Pac. Struggled with a nobody with a knockoutless record on the undercard of JMM-Pac 2.
Oscar - Got busted up by a non puncher in Steve Forbes with the cheek bone thing
Hatton - He destroyed Malinaggi and all that, but what about the time he nearly got KOd by Lazcano
Cotto - Barely survived against a low intensity fighter in Clottey
Clottey - What was the point in this fight?
Margarito - I can actually understand this fight and wasn't all that mad with it, just the aspect of the title even though I didn't like the way Margarito looked against Garcia
Mosley - Coming off two horrible performances.

And another thing that needs to be touched on too, is the fact that even though this fight with Mosley isn't at a catch weight, it's gonna be at 147 which in reality makes the fight less competitive in my view because Mosley last fought at 154 against Mora.

It seems like Pacquiao just catches guys at the right time. He could've put all this criticism to bed if he just sat idle for a couple months and await the winner of the Bradley-Alexander fight since their excuse was that Berto is unproven (which he is) and JMM is too small or priced himself out or whatever.

And even though Mosley might beat JMM due to the size factor, that don't change the fact he's still not a tougher fight for Pacquiao like Merchant and the rest of Pacquiao's blind fans are letting on like. His jab and foot work has always been garbage and he's lost to every boxer he's faced except for the first Oscar fight. Pacquiao just fought Margarito and let him come in at 152 so why can't he let Mosley come in like that too? Pacquiao deserves all this heat he is getting even though it seems tiring to get on this site and see the forums are filled with this very topic. Floyd shouldn't have anything to do with Pacquiao's choice of opponents now because there are still top guys out there for Manny to fight.

Manny LOST to Morales in the first. Imagine, Manny NOT fighting Morales and Morales then going on a good string like Marquez? Marquez never beat Manny and look at the comments, imagine Morales? Be real!

Who would question, Oscar, Cotto and Clottey as their 1st 3 147lb fights and that Manny was only able get to 2 to 5 pounds under the 147 limit?

When you fight a Barerra, Marquez and Morales almost back to back, can you say it was all calculated?

You even agree with some of those fights so what's the problem?

A fighter is allowed to lose a fight. Manny lost to Morales. Does that mean Manny was shot, finished, end of his career?

The mix has been good for Manny. They can't all be gems and that is for many reasons. Now, he pretty much cleaned out 147. After Mosley it may be Berto or Floyd. Mosley may not be the best option but the other available options are questionable too and it's really about an OPINION at this point because I see Mosley having a better shot than Marquez.

One has to take a closer look on what Larry Mrchant has to say about Mosley, Pacman' next opponent:

HBO's expert analyst Larry Merchant considers "Sugar" Shane Mosley as the most dangerous opponent among the three choices presented to Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino champion finalized a deal earlier this week to face Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Merchant says Juan Manuel Marquez is the most profitable opponent, but Mosley is the most dangerous.

"I think Shane Mosley presents the most danger. You have to remember that Pacquiao is still fighting bigger guys. What would happen if Mosley fought Marquez? If you're asking who I think he should fight, and who would bring in the most money, then it's Marquez, but if you're asking me which of them is the most dangerous, then it's Shane Mosley," Merchant told krikya360.com

            Yeah, in the pants.

I hate this fight but let's get this straight. He didn't chicken out of Martinez.

He said he won't fight above 147 again right after he slaughtered Margarito.

              Why not Blame Pac?

Pac persoanlly turned down Foreman. So that means he couldve turned down Clottey, Marg, Mosley, Diaz, etc. Manny has a BIG say in who he fights.

I'm not quite sure if Bradley can be competitive with Pac just yet. He can avoid his punches and match his workrate, but he'll have a hard time hurting him. The only way I'll believe that he can be competitive against Manny is if he blows out Alexander and then goes on to beat JMM and Berto.

Alexander on the other hand would get destroyed. He has limited footwork and head movement, average defense and there's seriously nothing he can do that Pacquiao can't do better. Pac's faster, stronger, harder punching, has better footwork, throws better combinations, is smarter, has better jab resistence, etc.

So at the moment Mosley is a better choice than both. And I'd love to see anyone here say that Berto would beat Mosley right now...It just wouldn't happen.

So who the **** do you want Pacquiao to face? Huh? If he didn't face them, everyone would be calling him a ducker. The ****ing ******ity in this forum has reached it's highest point. I come here to read some good, decent thread but instead, I have to read this bull****.

Was Shane Mosley inactive for 1 year and 7 months when Floyd fought him?

Did Hatton struggled at 147 against Collazo? Hatton is natural 140 pounder and his resume at 140 undefeated beat key fighters at 140 and not at 147..

Was Marquez fighting at 130 and 135 pounders? How does FLoyd agree to a catchweight fight and cheating his way to victory?

Did Floyd Retire when Cotto and Margarito were dominating 147? Did Floyd came back from retirement picking a Lightweight Marquez?

Pacquiao era - Floyd only fought 2 times in the last 4 years... That's the effect when someone is dominating
