Great point. They could care less what the hardcore fans think because they're not many of them. At the end of the day, the casual fan has more impact on a fighters legacy than the hardcore fan.

These so called "real boxing fans/hard core fans" b1tch about everything and rarely support the sport of boxing. Sad part is they do these things and think there opinion actually matters

      Casual fans FTW!!!

I don't get that, please explain.

It's true though, casual fans make up 90% of the PPVs? Only a guess, but you can't expect hardcore fans not to be upset with Pacquiao's decision to face Mosley.

Me, no need for me to complain. Just don't plan to buy it, simple.

I am willing to bet my membership here that Martinez-Pacman would outsell this fight by landslide!!

It would and I doubt anyone would argue that point with you.

U know what,I'm getting tired of ur righteous bull****!!Peep game special dude, supporting a fight like this does nothing for the sport,it further kills it true story!!Bradley-& Alexander are the 2 best at 140,they are fighting each other, that's a fight, fight fans should support!!Bernard Hopkins at almost 46 years old just fought a guy 18 years younger & for most of the fight dominated!!That's a fighter U support!!Manny Pac,is a cherry picker, just like Floyd, the more U line their pockets for taking easy fights, the more they are gonna do it!!Then every other fighter that doesn't deserve big paydays aren't gonna fight unless they get them, wake up guy.

Well, I believe that the casual fans have the biggest impact on a fighters career when it's all set and done, legacy wise and financial wise. Financially, we all know the most PPV numbers are from casual fans so that's set. Legacy, if it was for the hardcore fans, no boxer would ever get on the boxing hall of fame but be accused of ducking and cherry picking. It's rare that you see hardcore boxing fans give any credit to a fighter. Casual fans? Of course. They are the ones who give all the credit and praise the fighter.

Terrible comparison they didnt charge 60 dollars for it and they did it every week or 2 to stay sharp and they all fought quality contenders and champions in between many of these stay busy fights, not a pathetic tune up every 6 months. In the case of Ali and Louis, they were both criticized for any sub standard opponents on the few occasions they fought them and still fought much better competition than Manny has.

I've followed the sport for over 15 years.

I understand that no fighter goes out and faces elite fighter each and every time.

Is this a great fight....not really.

At the end if the day every fighter takes a money fight/lesser opponent from time to time.

Even guys you seem to be sucking off recently such as Martinez (Who was trying to fight Cotto and Andy Lee) and B-Hop (who fought Oreneles and a guy who is way more shot than Shane in Roy Jones Jr.) are doing to same thing.

                      BTW I love your hypocrisy....
