Nobody can bash Golden Boy as they where at least trying to get the better match up. Leave it to TOP RANK to avoid the best let a lone better choices. Again Team Pac will duck and dodge yet again.

Pac's little fanboys are getting more outraged as the fact that Floyd IS on vacation and going to court isn't the one ducking here. Pac's picking and choosing fighters AT certain weight classes AT certain weights. They avoided Mosley when he was "too good" but waited for him to age, look not so good and coming off a lose and a draw?

What's to say they're avoiding Mayweather who lets say is "too great" NOW and waiting for him to be not so "great" later just as they did with Mosley?

Or is it that Team Pac/Top Rank don't like to deal (share money) with Golden Boy let alone Mayweather himself?

Either way its Pac and or Top Rank's fault for not getting fights made with the best fighters out there, weather that be Mayweather (AT 147), Martinez (AT 154), Berto (AT 147), JMM (AT 140), Alexander/Bradley (At 140-147).

Don't be mad, accept that Pac is picking and choosing fighters AT certain weight classes AT certain weights. Stop denying it and step up and admit it. Avoid the hype and shyt that Top Rank is spoon feeding boxing and start demanding that the best fight the best. Something Pac isn't doing, and hasn't been doing..... The fans need to accept this FIRST, then act accordingly by not supporting it.

Its still disappointing that Mosley thinks he deserves a shot. I mean anyone would do it because of the money that is involved but really Golden Boy was putting there man aside for a fighter that deserved a shot OVER Mosley. That tells you that Golden Boy is still some what doing the RIGHT thing here while Mosley is trying to get paid, GBP is trying to get the more deserving of the two a shot. I like Mosley but his time has came and went. Floyd ended Mosley's last chance at the top. Now Pac wants the credit AFTER he already ducked him.
I disagree with JMM at 147 being a better match up than Mosley at 147...Frankly they both are terrible match-ups.

      Pretty much... both get punished...

JMM Probably gets knocked out, and the ref steps in for Mosley.

Yeah that's fair point actually mate.

I did actually get a bit impatient with Mosely going on about what he deserved just for the Margarito win.

He was half demanding for Mayweather or Pacman, waiting around so long in the end unwilling to just fight that he just begged pretty much for any deal at any weight.

It was slightly poor form. He's definitely only out there for the money given his ex Mr's took him to the cleaners.

This is exactly how I feel. Just terrible options...Fight Berto, somebody fresh, new.

Mosley is just being used by TR and Arum to make PAC look even better. Pac WILL stop Mosley late in the fight and they will have further braggin rights vs mayweather saying: "look what we did, Pac is better that mayweather."

GBP would most likely try and get a catchweight agreed to between 140 and 147. JMM at any weight deserves more of a shot than Mosley, but your right JMM AT 147 is terrible. No more terrible than Pac fighting Mosley.

I was saying JMM AT 140 deserves a shot at Pac. Even JMM at 147 on paper deserves a shot OVER Mosley IMO and I only say that because of JMM/Pac's history and that JMM is at least coming off a win.

That's just comparing the two who should be close to the very last names on the list of fighters for Pac to face next. The fact that they are at the top is disappointing, but hey what else is new.

This would never happen, but if there was a time when Floyd could gain some respect and fans, it would be now. If he came back and stopped all this nonsense and shock the shyt out of Arum and gets a fight made I think some people would accept him a little more. Just for the fact this is what where getting yet again from Pac. As Top Rank/Team Pac are making it VERY clear that all roads lead to Mayweather. They make a front that if its not Floyd, than the fans will suffer with yet again another shyt fight. Like I said, there hiding behind Floyd's name who's sadly making it very very very easy for them to do.

But I agree, if not Mayweather fight Berto AT 147.

The fact is... GBP works for both Mosley AND JMM..

They just got Mosley a HUGE payday with Floyd this year.

Now they have to work for JMM too... and unlike Mosley, JMM did his job... which is to win.

But, is not going to be at 140, is not going to be at a catch-weight, is going to be at 147 Pac team already made that clear.

And, your last paragraph I don't know if all roads lead to Floyd. I mean Floyd is really not doing anything right now and really he is irrelevant to the sport as boxing is concern...He making more head waves for things going on outside the sport then things going on in the sport. Pac has been successful even this year they have been successful when it come to the business side without Floyd and the 2 years prior to this year they were successful in terms of boxing legacy without Floyd. So I am not sure where said road leads to. I just know that Mosley and Pac are terrible options.

Back to the topic however, I have no problem with what Shane is doing. He is doing what is best for his boxing career and him making a Pac fight on his own is what he feels is best. Then he should go do that. Top Rank did great by Oscar, and Oscar left them and that was the best move for him. So they(Oscar/GBP) have no right to complain on what Shane is trying to do. Because, Oscar did the same thing years ago.

At the end if this fight gets done I don't blame Shane at all. He is doing what he has to do so more power to him. If he gets the fight good for him. The blame should fall directly on team Pac for choosing Shane as an opponent.

I agree and it's the right play because Pac beating Berto will only convince HALF of the hardcore fans. The other half will say, well Berto struggled with Collazo, so he was supposed to lose against Pac. But Pac beating Mosley by TKO will again galvanize the casual boxing fan and will force Floyd's hand even more!!! Floyd might actually have to leave the country like Roach said. Berto is probably the better fight, but as long as Mayweather is still out there, Pac's team needs to be smart. Even at 140, I think Pac-JMM III is a joke. Pac's footwork and balance is light years better than when they fought back in 2008.
