Agbeko put on the best performance of the night

Everyone was picking against him (not me I picked him) and talking about the rematch with perez and mares.

What azclassy display by Agbeko. Rough, but defensive, his ducking and firing that right or left to the body and his "swimming without getting wet" was impressive.

He allowed yonny to get him in a brawl twice but cleared his senses after the round and went back to putting on a clinic in and all action highly entertaining top level prizefight.

I was also impressed with how relaxed he fought. He was fluid and loose in there and was in fantastic shape. I saw him do the same early in the Vic d fight but then he took the easy way out and just Andre warded Vic.

Props to agbeko who I also liked the post fight interview with. He's creeping up my favorite fighters to watch list.
Mares was fighting a guy that's too small for bantam.

I think I may pick agbeko in the finals.

I agree bro, he put on a great performance...

Out of all the names Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, Peterson, Mares, Darchinyan, Perez...

Agebeko was the fighter of the night last night.

Hats off to Agbeko his fight with Mares in the finals is going to be another damn good fight.

I switched over to Khan-Maidana after Mares-Vic, I'll have to watch it later.

You gotta get some kinda dvr cuz they schedule head to head to head fights.

Agbeko was fast, smooth, and strong.

Jro. Agbeko just seems like he wanted it more. Mares wants it as bad as him though. I can't wait for that fight now.

                Great post, and I agree.

I've never seen Agbeko fight that well before.

And people were saying he'd be rusty because he hadn't fought for a while, but he beat a class a fighter.

I think the Mares match up is going to be very interesting.

Not so sure Mares can stalk him like he did Vic as Agbeko will wing that hard right at him to stop him in his tracks if he does.

Agbeko used his jab last night and his left hook, two things he forgets to do in his wars.

He also fought better defensively than I've ever seen him fight. He usually relies on his great chin.

He was in shape and very ready last night and it showed.

I had said once and I will say it again.

Bantamweight division is hands down the best division in boxing...There is just so many damn good fighters in that weight-class that any giving night one top fighter could beat the top fighter.

Is just ridiculous how deep that weight-class is...

Agbeko beats em all if he fights like that. And it seemed like he improved his left hand punch which was one of my criticisms against him was that he was only effective with the right hand. While his right hand is still his best punch, it seemed like he improved the technique and pop on his left.
