If Pascal beats Hopkins is Martinez then Pascal as the runner.

If Khan beats Maidana he would of had a better year than Pac.

As of right now it is Martinez, I would put Montiel, Juanma Lopez, and Segura in the 2, 3, and 4 spot all ahead of Pac for the year...

If Hop beats Pascal and then you add Hop "beating" Jones. Would this make Hop fighting for the #1 spot with Martinez? Jones is a has been but so was Margarito and Clottey (who was a NEVER has been) and that's supposed to be FOTY worthy? Pascal is the man to beat right now at LHW. If Hop beats Pascal has both those victories under his belt in 2010, it definitely puts him above Pac by a mile or 100. If someones attempting to compare the two. Which is dumb. I agree though, Martinez should be the FOTY 2010. There is no debate. EVEN if you take a simple non boxing fan and give them a piece of paper with names and ranks of the fighters both faced you would clearly see the "better" when comparing Martinez and pac. Mayweather's done more in beating the #1 WW but nobodies saying he should be FOTY. That's more than what Pac did in two fights.

Fighting a 40 year old Mosley and Cotto II wont do it either for next year. As Mayweather already beat Mosley when he was #1 but that's not making him the FOTY worthly so how would it make Pac now that Mosley isn't anything but an old loser? Plus when and If pac fights Cotto again next year at 154, that's just Pac ducking a REAL 154 lber in Martinez. That is grade A non FOTY talk there for 2011.

Right now Martinez is the FOTY and if Arum gets his way it looks like Pac wont be the FOTY next year either. Such a shame.

Hopkins already took Pavlik's soul, and will probably offer more resistance than Williams did the second time around. Dawson, for my money, is better than both Williams and Pavlik, although he did appear to have an off night against Pascal.

No, because of the performance Pac put up in those fights compared to what Hopkins did against Jones. If hopkins would of put the performance that Pac did then OK, or if Pac would of put the performance that Hopkins did then yes I would agree. But, not with that performance and a victory over Pascal won't do it either. Comeback FOTY sure, thee FOTY on the otherhand. No not even over Pac.

Why do you keep putting the Klits as one. They're 2 different guys. Wlad KO'd Chambers that just as good as or better than Pac-Clottey. Wlad stopped Peter, just as good as Marg win, now he has Chisora. So if you want to make a case for Wlad...Fine, I would not argue that.

However, Vitaly has done shit to be able to say he has had a better year than Pac. A win over Sosnowski and F'ing Briggs is not better than beating Clottey and Maragrito.

I think Pascal would have a case. For my money is Martinez. But, Pascal would be the only clear #2 with a case for #1.

neither Clottey nor Marg were better than Marg or P-Will. And, if Pascal win neither one of them would be better than Dawson or Hopkins,

Neither one of them were as skilled as Calderon, and Segura stopped him. Segura also beat a sold fighter in Vargas in short week notice and stopped which makes it more impressive. Segura went 4-0 this year with 4 KO's and one of them against F'ing Calderon man.

Neither one of them ranked higher than Hasegawa, And, now that Hasegawa is competing at FW just shows you how much bigger he was than Montiel who started at flyweight. Montiel has gone 3-0 with 3KO's this year and one of them against F'ing Hasegawa and has another fight this Saturday.

Juanma went 3-0 against top 10 in his division this year. And, KO'd all 3 top 10 featherweights. Pac can't touch that this year.
