The buzz in the city for Dirrel/Abraham was nothing in Detroit, I don't remember even any of the papers putting ads or anything out for it. HBO is reached to such a bigger audience, with a larger budget. There will be much more advertising for this fight than the fight between Abraham and Dirrell. It will sell more tickets by far.

I've never been there but isn't the Silverdome about a half hour away from Detroit (I think I remember one of the guys on PTI said that)? I can't imagine there being a great atmosphere at this fight.

A bunch of clowns in here that know nothing about what they are talking about. The Silverdome is over 30 minutes away from Detroit. It also is in Oakland county, which is one of the wealthiest counties in America. People need to stop talking **** about Michigan, especially if they have never been here. Dirrell/Abe drew as many people as a big fight like Williams/Martinez. Michigan is a better boxing state than most and will put 10,000 people in the seats.
